[Resolved]  OneAssist Consumer Solutions — not processing the damage claim request saying that the name is wrong in their system but invoice and id proofs are submitted with my name

I have raised a mobile damage claim request for my damaged mobile with sr # 2951190 for membership id [protected] on relationship # 704653.

I have raised the claim and submitted all the documents i. E., handset pictures with imei displayed on phone, invoice, aadhar card. After submitting i got a mail from the team that my details were wrong and i have to submit the id card of some other person whose name is "d y kanthi". I have contacted oneassist and they are saying that in their system the name is showing like "d y kanthi". So i need to update his id proof in the claim. But that person is not my relative and i cannot even contact him.

In 2017 october i have ordered a phone for my colleague's relative from my mi.com account, as i have ordered on the name of d y kanthi, they have updated my oneassist account with the name d y kanthi. Later i have raised a complaint and updated back the name to myself. Currently the account is on my name only.

Now when i raised the claim, they are saying that i need to submit id proof on name of d y kanthi and strike my name in the claim form and write his name.

I have asked them, invoice is on my name and account is on my name and why i have to submit the id proof of person kanthi who is not contactable now. And offering me a solution that i need to show the oneassist a mail copy mentioning that d y kanthi has gifted the phone to me. What the hell is this, and who is he to gift me when all the documents are on my name and they have to process the claim on my name itself as i uploaded all the necessary documents and which are perfect with my name.

The oneassist consumer solutions were cheating the customers in this way and they are not processing claim and they simply taking money for insurance without processing claim when damage occurs. Please take strict action on them and please process my claim.

There is no response from your end. I have trusted you because of my previous experience with you in the damage claims. That is the reason why i have trusted you and renewed my insurance with you. But now i got a good experience stating not to purchase any membership with you and almost i have 11 memberships on my account and 3 got expired and i just kept pending because of these and also i will ask all my friends and colleagues not to purchase membership from you as i have referred so many stating you are good at service. But from now i will withdraw that and i will also file a case on consumer court on the name of One assist consumer solutions as you are not processing my claim till date. Today also your executives keep on mailing me that some document is missing even after submission of all documents. You have made a mistake by keeping some other persons name in my memberships in a hurry to sell a insurance as you need to meet your targets. and now for your mistake you are asking to submit some one else id proofs. But i have done that. still you are asking some other documents. I will not worry about money i will value about trust. Now even if you process claim or not, or even if you refund my insurance amount 1199 i paid for purchasing or not i am not worrying. i will repair the product outside on my expenditure if you don't process my claim. I will surely file a case on your company this week itself. I have all the proofs that the invoice is on my name and the handset is my name and i will prove that you made mistake from your end and you are not processing my claim fro your mistake.
