Service center in Vadodara has been outsourced to an agency called. Y.B.S. Enterprise. This complaint is just to make other consumers aware of the practices being followed by them and be cautious. I had registered a complaint for my Microwave not working. After several follow-ups the technician visited and diagnosed the problem as "Magnetron Damaged". He said the estimated cost was[protected]Rs. I said i needed to think about it. He asked for the service charge for the visit Rs.450/- instead of Rs.350/- which the customer care center had told me. I still paid it.
I then called a local technician to get a second opinion. He checked and found that the Magnetron was working absolutely fine and the actual problem was with a diode not working. He repaired the appliance in 400rs. including his service charge for the visit. Incapability or dishonesty, whichever be the case, but consumers must be cautious in dealing with such people, as the loss is entirely theirs. Was this information helpful? |
