[Resolved]  Freecultr — Embezzlement of money paid for online purchase

This is regarding the unprofessional treatment and harassment meted out to the customers by the online clothing retail brand, Freecultr. In brief my dealing with this brand is as follows –
1. I had placed an order for a Medium sized T-shirt on 11-Oct-2012
2. This was delivered on 15-Oct-2012, but this was a very large size. Please note that by no standards can the size of the delivered T-shirt be deemed as medium. Hence I had requested for a return of the same in lieu of store credit of my money (an arrangement by which I can use the money for making another purchase with Freecultr only), as the process for exchanging for a smaller size was not convenient, as suggested by the Customer Support executive.
3. On 16-Oct-2012, Freecultr arranged for a pickup of the T-shirt.
4. According to Freecultr, the product reached their warehouse 3 weeks later. Despite regular calls from me, they were unable to track the consignment on its way back.
5. After the product returned to Freecultr, the quality check, which is a step required by them to be completed before awarding the store credit was not processed until 23-Nov-2012, more than a month after the product was actually returned by me.
6. On 30-Nov-2012, I used my store credit to place another order. The order shipped later than usual.
7. Freecultr booked this consignment with Blue Dart courier service. Blue Dart was however, unable to deliver, as my phone number provided to them by Freecultr was wrong. Hence they were unable to send any automated messages or co-ordinate with me. Consequently the product was returned to Freecultr on 05-Dec-2012
8. Since 05-Dec-2012, Freecultr has been promising to refund the store credit. The 48-hour time requested by them has elapsed long before and the store credit has not been refunded.

During this entire transaction, I have called Freecultr easily more than 10 times. They do not have a suitable notification process to track and inform about the status of the requests and complaints. The Customer Support executives usually do not have the appropriate details. The timelines suggested by them to resolve the complaints are never honoured.

All in all, Freecultr has set a terrible example as an online retailing brand in these times when new online retailing brands are mushrooming almost every month.

Freecultr has embezzled my money, has put me through a lot of mental agony due to the repeated and unfruitful follow-ups. Upon looking up, I also realized that there are multiple complaints about this organization online.
