[Resolved] Maniac Store — Taking too long to refund or too replace the product | |||
Hi , I have ordered a Mobile Phone in Maniacstore on April 06 2013 and paid amount of 8190 rupees ORDER ID - #48772 . I received the product through the fed ex couriers on April 09 2013 around 6.40 PM . As i found the product is defective one , i reported the same to maniac store around 8.50 PM the same night . As per the maniacs store's policy if a customer received a defective product . He/She has to report it within 24 hours after the receipt of the product -which i did perfectly . And they have arranged the reverse pickup for the product through fedex couriers on april 11 and i have sent the product to them on april 11 2013. The product has reached the today - April 13 2013.. I got confirmation email and call . I asked them about the replacement , they told that it ll take two or three days for their technical team to verify the product and then further procedure ll follow only after that.. and i asked will you replace the product i[censored] verified that product is defective one they said yes but they say it will take 15 to 20 days time to replace the product . so i asked for refund , they are saying it ll take same duration for refund procedure also .... But their refund policy on their website didn't mentioned about the " REFUND AFTER 20 DAys " http://www.maniacstore.com/refund-policy.html I have bought many times (more than 20 times ) with other websites like flipkart and ebay but didn't had any hassle with them .. I don't have mobile phone with me right now. How can stay for 30 days without a mobile phone in this modern world ? i don't have my own mobile phone for 6 days already. MANIAC STORE is saying it may take 20 days to REPLACE or REFUND ...How can that be acceptable ? I have got don't have mobile phone with me right now. I have got HUGE STRESS AND TENSION with MANICA STORE with this first time purchase itself. I need replacement product or Money refund within 7 days .... I purchased o mob fone frm maniac store n found dat the speakers r not functiong..repeated fone calls to dem has proved futile...they make false promuses n are foolng us..don't but frm dem aa they r biggest frauds

Right... their service and products are sick... I am in the hassle right now... dont know when it will be fixed.
I have purchased apple iphone 5 from maniacstore and i got my product within 5 days. They are providing amazing customer care services and i really appreciate about that. sometimes it happens that it will take time to response from their customer care service but it happens with all leading online shopping portal so i thing we should not blame on maniacstore.

Simply waste of time spending time with maniac store. Dont go for it... Suffering alot for refund more than 14 days as of today... Dont know when it will resolve.
I bought the iphone5c from maniacstore and phone started getting hanged in 2 weeks, after some time display screen stops working. i reported same to apple centre then got to know that i have got a hongkong phone and due to international policy it can not be repaired here. i called maniact store so got the response to send it back, i sent it on my own cost. They did not provide any facility plus at the time of order also it was delivered to me after 3 weeks.
i have sent it now to them and dont know how long would it take. i have spent extra money of courier which was around 4000 rupees because it was costly phone. again i have to buy a alternative phone because not sure that how long it will take to get my phone repaired or replaced, i am not getting good response from them.
Please avoid shopping from them, i am also about to file a complain in court, cosumer phorum, Police.
