Sub: Consumer Harassment for Disruption of Electricity for Long Duration Dear Sir, I am Syed Sultanul Arefin, son of Syed MD Zaber (Service Connection No.- D/10354, Consumer ID.[protected] to bring you kind notice the fact that my family has been faced a lot of problems for disruption of electricity for long duration from the date 2/4/2013 at approximately 3:15 p.m. to 3/4/2013 at 7:59 a.m. having continuous near about terrible 17 hours of disruption of electricity supply in spite of filed a complaint to the electric department at 6 p.m., we have not been got any sort of help from your side and experienced a terrible 17 hours of harassment from child to old age including local other families also which is not a new experience. Under the circumstances, we request you to look into the matter and take necessary actions on your part is highly solicited, so that we the normal consumer will be relieved from unnecessary harassment. We also requesting you to please take legal action on erring employees who at 10.00 p.m. have gone with service van beside our home and in spite of our call at that point of time including several times requesting over phone they did not responded and did not done their service where commitment to public utility services is one of the essential element of any service organization which is their vital part of duty and responsibility and have gone from the place without helping and serving proudly which is a criminal offence under the jurisdiction of under Sections 2(b) ,(c), (i), (f), (g) , (o) etc. of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 and also under The Indian Penal Code, 1860. The person who delivers the electric bill name "Uttam Ghosh" is using abusing words while giving the electric bill and telling "do what ever you can do " in the salt lake area. Please take action about this matter as it is going much bad .
