Recently, OTP carried a full page newpaper advertisement on 31-Oct-2021 about their Franchise scheme and offerred deep discounts on some vegetables and non-veg items.
Thousands of people across Bangalore including ordered items on their mobile APP and pre-paid for them online. Their APP said it will be delivered the same day - however not delivered to-date. Visited one of the OTP express shop nearby and was told its closed since a month. Called up their CS no multiple time, and finally got to someone - and this guys said the order will be delivered end of day.
That was the last time they could be reached on tahat single CS no :[protected]. They no are not reachable anymore and they play a jarring call-wait music to dissuade users. Even the APP has removed our logins and we cannot login to access our order details !
This is how a scam company typically operates ( which I sincerely hope OTP is not ). Even if they genuinely wanted to shut off all their franchises and go direct-to-customer; this is a classsic Management Case to study on - HOW NOT TO MESS UP A STARTUP VENTURE. Bite what you folks can chew !!!
