[Resolved]  Poorvika Mobiles — Sony XPERIA C4 Dual mobile issue

I purchased Sony Xperia C4 dual mobile on 13/12/2015 from Poorvika Mobiles Mogappair West Branch.The invoice No is MOG-13968.The particulars of the mobile areas below

Bill value Rs 22, 000/-.
We also took Mobile Protect insurance plan also from Poorvika by paying Rs 1000/- on the date of mobile purchase through invoice no-163752 for a period one year up to 12/12/2016.
The phone started giving trouble from August -2016 last week like touch screen is showing the creation of self generated commands and the display was showing different pages on its own command.( The unit is acting on its own commands once it is switched on.It is not accepting any touch screen command by me.)We approached Poorvika Mogappair West branch on 17/9/16 to get the phone repaired, we were advised by the dealer to visit the Sony Service centre as it is within the warranty period of one year.We visited the Sony Service centre at Anna Nagar (near Iyyappa Temple), Chennai on the same day.The service team at the Sony centre opened back cover of the phone and identified the soldering of motherboard of the mobile.The service centre confirmed that the mobile unit was sold to us after servicing by somebody.It is not clear if it has been done by the dealer (seller) before selling to us.But it is clear that when the unit was sold to us on 13/12/2015, it was a not a new one from the manufacturer but a serviced one.We want you to give a new replacement mobile in place of the faulty one.We purchased the new mobile on 13/12/15 from Poorvika shop in good faith.The Poorvika is supposed to ensure that they sell original new mobile not serviced ones.Having supplied the serviced mobile instead of new mobile, Poorvika should give replacement immediately.

We would like to have immediate response for our complaint.On hearing from you we will plan the next course of action.

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is further to my complaint registered earlier on 18/9/16 .As advised by my seller Poorvika Mobiles, we went to Sony service centre, Vimas Intek, Anna Nagar, Chennai once again on 24/9/16 and the the phone instrument back side photos were taken by the service centre once again.We were told that M/s Sony centre will revert after writing to their service head.But we were told by Sony Service Centre, Anna Nagar the following week to visit again to hand over the phone instrument to them so that the Sony Team will personally check the instrument and forward their findings for further action from their end.Accordingly the unit was handed over to them on 01/10/16 as requested by the centre.We received a letter dt 3/10/16 on 5/10/16 from Sony service centre that the unit was handled by unauthorised agency during the warranty period and the warranty is not applicable for the mobile phone.We are not able to understand who has done this mischief between manufacturing and the sale of the unit by M/s Poorvika Mobiles to us on 13/12/15.The possibility of any such act from our side ruled out as the unit was with my son throughout from the day of purchase.Please note that we have we have taken mobile protect insurance policy also at the time of purchase by paying Rs 1000/- M/s Poorvika Mobiles.Now the issue has become worse warranting highest level of attention to fix the culprit.If it is not done, it will be a biggest blunder on our part to let the culprit scotfree to continue such acts.We want the problem to be resolved without further delay .We would wait a day or two to get response from M/s Poorvika Mobiles or M/s Sony India.Then we shall proceed further with the best possible consumer protection tool so that the real culprit is taught a lesson and this will become an eye opener for others .

Dear Sir,

The complaint has not been resolved.The customer services head Ms Hepzeema told yesterday that the unit was serviced by outside unauthorized agency through the customer.The set can not work for more than a month or so if the set was received in motherboard tampered condition as per Ms Hepzeema.If the set is having the one year manufacturer warranty and one year protect insurance (after paying Rs 1000/- for the same during purchase), why the customer will resort to going to unauthorised agency for repair.It is an opportunity for the customer to get an immediate replacement from the seller/M/s Sony for having supplied a defective unit, if it has failed in a short period from the purchase date.It will be very difficult to coin an adjective to describe the behaviour of customer services head. Ms Hepzeema should prove that the statement made by her is true.Only we can say that the sinner will be punished for such an act by law of nature and we shall take up this matter with relevant parties so that the real culprits are brought to book and never raise their heads to cheat other customers.M/s Sony should do necessary investigations to address the complaint raised by us. They can try all possible methods to unearth the facts to pin point the culprit.If it is possible they have to blacklist the vendor Poorvika Mobiles for cheating the customer and escaping the mischief by blaming the customer.

We want immediate action from M/s Sony for replacement and blacklisting of Poorvika Mobiles from the market.
