[Resolved]  Punjab & Sind Bank — Harassment of my daughter by Punjab & Sind bank employee Tanvi Greater Noida

To The chief manager Punjab & Sind Bank I wish to lodge complaint of one of your employee named Ms Tanvi (As told by the Branch Manager) posted in Greater Noida Alpha 1 Branch, who misbehaved with my daughter Rashmil when she reached to deposit cash in account of Sanjeev Saxena, Account no-[protected] on 12th September 2014. My daughter waited outside during lunch hour & when she tried to deposit amount, she refused to do so as this is other branch account. When my daughter given her introduction that she is also working in Bank & she can’t reject depositing in other branch account. Then Ms Tanya told her that it will take one hour to deposit & as soon as Rashmil objected again she got aggressive & started using offensive language and asked guard to get her out of the branch. Then my daughter called me on phone to help and I suggested her to call the police & I am coming to help her then Ms. Tanvi tore a part of my daughter’s clothing in front of guard. When I reached bank with lady police then also she was behaving very violent then the Branch Manager intervened & apologised, then she started weeping fearing legal action against her. I did not lodge police complaint thinking about the impact it would have on her future life today but I am still in the state of extreme anger for the kind of harassment she did to my daughter so I expect from the management to immediately fire her off her duties on disciplinary grounds so that she atleast learns a lesson for future. You can refer to the CCTV video footage for proof & take strong action against Tanvi with intimation to me. If the same is not done in due time I shall be forced to take up the matter with the help of media which shall bring a bad name your bank reputation. An early action shall be solicited. It has become a habit of the employees and officers too to be offensive and disrespectful to customers and even senior citizens.Customers are a burden to the Bank Staff.They are disrespectful even to the retired officers even those who retired in senior management grade..
Top management of the Bank is not taking any action against the erring staff.
