[Resolved]  Racold — Complain against Racold Geyser Serviceman Mr. Jagadish N Jagga Phone no. [protected]

Installation of Racold 15L geyser was done by Mr. Jagadish N Jagga bearing Phone no. [protected] on 22 March 2022.

Free Installation and I paid the accessory part charges.
I was charged of Rs 750, I gave an extra tip of Rs 150. Total of Rs 900 was collected from me.

I was told he put 2 valves each of Rs 350. Rs 50 for plumbing and the rest Rs 150 was given as tip.

After he left I saw there was water leaking from the false roofing, so I opened it.
I was surprised to see he had put only 1 valve. And instead of the other he had put a unijoint / nipple. I felt cheated.
Also the geyser wire was haphazardly left hanging over the outlet pipe. (Subjecting it to heat from hot water). How hard is to properly tie it and plug it in a safe manner to the side?

So I called him about the water leaking and asked him to come fix it.
Then I enquired about why he didnt put the 2nd valve and why i was charged Rs. 700.

Now, he changed his prices… He told me
1 valve cost Rs 400, The unijoint nipple cost Rs 120, and plumbing charges Rs 180.

So what is free installation + Pipes ? If I being charged for drilling 2 holes for wall mounts, placing the geyser and attaching the pipes to the valves. My apartment had all the necessary pipe work. All he had to do was remove the blunt corks and attach the geyser pipes to apartment pipe work.

I asked him to come back fix the leak and pay the money I was overcharged.
He refused rudely and told me he was not doing any such things.
I told him i am going to raise a complaint. He replied he doesn't care and nothing I do will affect him anyway. He became impolite and told me he was not coming to fix the leak.

After much talk, he asked for my upi number and refunded Rs 200 via google gay.

So then I was left to fix the problem myself. I fixed the leak myself, tied off the wires in a safe manner.

This is kind of service I experienced, feeling cheated, overcharged and disrespected.
Unethical behavior from Mr. Jagadish N Jagga.

I request the concerned authorities to take proper action against such servicemen (Jagadish N Jagga).
Gives a bad name to the company (Racold) and the selling enterprise (Pai International).
I don’t recommend others to get such geysers from such sellers.
I hope others do not get cheated.

I request the overcharged amount to be refunded.
