Redbus — Cancellation policy game for not refunding money | |||||
I wanted to book 2 tickets from Bngalore to Chennai. I attempted to book it on Feb 11. When I hit "Bangalore to Chennai bus", I found redbus and chose it. It asked me the date and i mentioned Feb 12. When search list appeared the date was back to Feb 11. I booked the tickets and realized it was wrongly chosen. I immediately called the bus operator and red bus. Both were asking me to approach each other for cancellation. I reuqested them to atleast transfer it to the ticket which i book next and they denied. Both escaped with the reason of "We dont have the choice of cancelling but the bus operator\redbus has it". Details can be found in the image. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Hello i tried booking bus ticket amount deducted but did not get the ticket on Jan 24th 2017 and i called them 100 times but no use till now i did not get my 3470 INR till date help me on this
Please do not use red bus site for booking your bus tickets. On Jan 12, 2017 I had booked my ticket from Mumbai to Mysore in SRS travels, My all details got filled and payment also debited from my account. After all the process there was an error due to which my tickets were not booked.
Immediately I called Red bus customer care, they said they had a site problem due to which error has occurred and I was told that my debited amount of Rs. 1595 will be credited in my account within 24 hours.
Called many times to customer care they every time keep my call on hold for 5-10 mints to give a reply that within 24 hours or 48 hrs I will receive credit, the same thing will be replied on email but no email's nor call back nor refund i have received. Its now 2nd month completion but still I have not received my refund. Just now I spoke to customer care and was told that I will receive refund initiated text message but even after half an hour i am not received any text msg too.
I heard from many people that the same thing also has happened with them some left following up and some the same reply all the time.
You have to take an action against these types of companies. my complaint no in red bus is 480888
