I had completed a journey from Guwahati to Digboi on 29th January 2022 on Standard Chartered bus. My seat number was 14A. The bus operators made a male passenger seat next to me whereas I requested them to not make a male passenger seat next to me instead make a female passenger seat next to me. But they instead asked me to pay for it. This was the policy of red bus that if a female passenger has booked a seat, no male passenger can book a seat near her. I had to pay extra for that. I escalated this issue to red bus but red bus has denied to help me out. I am mentally harassed by both the bus operator and the customer care executive of red bus.
