[Resolved]  Reliance Broadband — Billing cycle active post termination of connection

Dear Sir/Madam, I had this broadband connection in 2009 for 9-10months. I had terminated this connection in July due to its poor service and no connection during that time. But still I kept getting bill for Aug 2009. I spoke with Reliance Customer Care team and it was resolved and they waive off additional amount they had charged on my account, as I had terminated the connection and there was no service and no usage. Now after so many years I got calls from Delhi-Noida stating advocate Mr. xyz and they will raise legal case if the amount Rs 4130 is not paid. Call abc person and pay the amount immediately. This sounded like fraud calls and I had ignored it as I never had any due with any of the companies. Aug 2014 - I got mail from Adv Amit Kulkarni from Pratikgroup asking for due to paid Rs 4130. I had couple of mail to the reliance customer care and their team but I haven't got any response from them. I have attached below proof mail where I had discussion with customer care and it was said to be resolved. I believe reliance bill system was still active till date and they forgot to reverse / system couldn't reverse the charges as said in the mail. When you have customers paying bill before time and communications were resolved and when you see such mail and getting calls from authorized goons from the company I can clearly see the intention. I have all the bills till termination of connection and all necessary mail communication. Got a call from customer representative though he didn't had knowledge to understand the incorrect billing and accounting he was saying without thinking much that system is correct.

Customer representative tried few ways to convenience me --

1. He said termination date of service in system is 16 Aug 2009 but the final termination of service happened on 11 Jan 2010 so you have been charged correctly - I'm a :)

2. Sorry sir, you had a due before and our system has only retrieved last 6 months records, so these charges are commutative. and system is correct - CC guy had no proof to show -

3. Sir, we don't know looking at the system it was terminated on 11 Jan 2010. So charges are correct . ha ha ha ha

4. Sir, do you have receipt or mail for termination request. Now how the hell you except a receipt after 5yrs. Were you sleeping ??

This is how the stupid, time wasting conversation ended with a note, sir I'll raise this problem and explain the issue with my senior.

11 Aug 2009 billing Rs 936.45 has been charged but reversed as no service was there. Amount Rs 54.58 charged on pro rata basis for 2 days usuage (11th and 12th July 2009) and Rs 936.5 is reversed as there was no service since 13 Aug 2009

Issue – Incorrect billing post termination of service

Details --
Billing Cycle - 11th day of month
Last active billing cycle date – 11th July 2009
Last Payment for active connection – Rs 937
Last Payment Date for active service – 27th July 2009
Service Termination request from user – 11th -13th July 2009
Service termination action from reliance – 16th Aug 2009 (Delay from Reliance)

Reason for termination of service – No broadband service working since 11th July 2009

Problem– Billing post termination of service. Below screen print shows problem in billing calculation and additional charges for non payment. Though the service was terminated on 11th July post user request, Last outstanding Bill amount is Rs 960 for Bill Date 11th Jan 2010 ? and Current outstanding amount Rs 4130 is been charged for non payment ? Service request for termination was raised 11th Jul 2009 and no service was available for data usage. How the billing has been generated post termination and additional charges been imposed on the user ?
