[Resolved] Reliance Broadband — Got bill even after disconnection and threat to take legal action against me | |||
Hi, I disconnected my netconnect+ service numbered [protected] on the 30th of july 2014 and made a full payment of Rs 1610 to get it disconnected. But then I again received a bill of Rs 510. I e-mailed your customer care but received no response. I keep getting reminders for this amount which I am not liable to pay since I got my service disconnected. I tried logging in my rcom.in account but it does not recognize my account anymore hence I cannot login online. I am currently in US and will be here for about 4 years so there is no way that I can go and talk to your customer care either on phone or in person. I am in similar situation like you and in USA now. I even got a Lok Adalat letter. Not sure what to do.

I am again repeatedly getting notices for payment of bill. They are threatening to take legal action against me. I don't understand why do I need to pay the bill when I cleared all dues while closing my account. I cannot pay the bill since I am in US and my online account has already been closed.
I remember that I got a case number for my account closure request from the reliance outlet. I was told that in case I receive bill after disconnection I can always quote this number to show that I have made all payments.

I do not know what to do and I am frustrated like hell. I don't want to get into legal trouble.
