[Resolved] Reliance Communications — 4g data card | |||
From, v k ravichandran, chennai reliance 4g data sim no.[protected], contact no.[protected] : while switching over to 4g, i was told that i will remain in 40 gb unlimited pack which existed in 3g plan and required to pay only rs.1, 144/- (one thousand one hundred and forty four only) by the customer care centre, nungamabakkam, chennai. whereas, the bill was generated to rs.1, 998/-. on approaching it was informed that there is no 40 gb plan on 4g and on having consumed more data, the bill has been raised to 1, 998/-. when i countered that the non-existence of 40gb plan was not informed while migrating and reluctant to pay the bill and requested for adjustment. the customer care also admitted that the fault was at their end and assured to take the matter for waiving of the excess amount. it will not be out of place to note that there are so many other customers, who are facing the same problem. finally, i was allowed to pay rs.1, 144/- and i chosen 5gb plan on 4g. the service was not provided. after making payment when the service resumed on 19.08.2016, it lasted only for 8-10 days and on 28th august, 2016 again got de-activated. on approaching, it was informed that i have exceeded the data, hence 5gb will be credited only on the billing data i. e.18th september, 2016. i was issued with a bill for rs.4, 226/- with last date of payment on 06th october, 2016. it is seen that the 5gb rate is only 1, 144/- and charged in excess. therefore, the bill may be revised and actual bill only (5gb) may be issued to continuously utilise the services. if no communication is received, no payment shall be done and dongle will not be used.
