[Resolved] Reliance Communications — Billing after terminating service | |||
Dear Sir, I have purchased 3G dongle MDN number [protected] in January 2016 for Rs 1200/- with a postpaid plan 686/- per month. It worked for 4 months only. Reliance themselves stopped providing 3G network service and no response from reliance stores. After a month they launched 4G network and demanded 2200/ to get a dongle if i want to continue. I refused to go again with Reliance and mailed them to terminate my connection . Though they have stopped 3G service, in July 2016 itself, they didn't stop generating and sending bill to the customers with threatening SMS and phone calls to pay the bills for the months they have not at all provided any service. When my bill dated in july was 1500/-, though my data usage is stopped much before, I was pressurised to pay 825/ to close the issue once for all by reliance store people over phone. Beleiving their sugar coated promise, i paid 825/- on 29 sep 2016. But, every month reliance communication generate bills and threatening me to pay without any 3G network service. When visited the store for solving issue, they demand me to pay bills generated till today. I was shocked by the cunning technic followed by Reliance communication by looting money from indians without providing any service. As the same issue is faced by thousands of people, govt should warn Reliance communication for their non ethical activities and release the innocent customers from the demon hands of Reliance communications.
