Hi!

I have been trying to discontinue reliance # [protected] for 3 months now but reliance services has been pathetic from trying to get in touch with a customer care representative to get the query resolved.

Customer service says that i must visit a reliance store if i want to discontinue this number, and when i go to the store they say please come on another day.

The most recent example is from 3/3/2016, when i visited the reliance store (On panka road, near aggarwal sweets sagarpur) and the representative their again said that i should come after on or after monday for this request. I had my id and everything but he said system won’t pull it (And this is not for the first time i am hearing it). What ticks me off is every time i somehow am able to get hold of someone they have an excuse and on top of that no one has a record on previous conversation. I have been told that there is no record stating that i even requested discontinuation of the services of this number while i am having these conversations over a month now. When i told the person in reliance store to put comments in system from today, he said everything will be done on monday or after monday.

I raised a complaint in writing very same day and sent an email to rcomappellateauthority.[protected]@relianceada.com and reliance customer care but i am getting no response at all. I have sent 3 emails so far, but they are not even acknowledging the request.

But they don't forget to send a bill for this number which has not been used for over 2 months.

Please help getting this closed.

Yup those do it all the time. Bad customer service and they are good at charging u more that wat ur supposed to pay. Not to forget the legal action stunt they pull off. Funny guys.

The call I got was to tell me I need to pay the bill. I am continously getting calls to make the bill payments, and this is nothing but harassment.

I am being forced to make the bill payment when I am not even using it. They claim that there is no record till date that I have raised complaint or requested.

So the issue is NOT resolved.

I got another bill, heights of shameful behaviour.
They continue to call for bill payment and harass for that but they won't fix the issue.

Frustrated by all this so I need to know how to take legal action against them.

I am not sure when you said that issue was escalated to a specialized team, did you mean "JERKS". Sorry to use such language, but the call that my brother received from +91-[protected] on 4/4/2015, forces me to say that. The person on the call (his registered name on TRUE Caller is Gaurav) was not only unprofessional but also used absurd language (he was literally abusing and calling names), obviously that is not something that is expected from ANY representative of the organization.

With such behavior I refuse to take any calls from Reliance, ongoing if someone has to contact me they MUST send a written communication to my registered email ID for any settlement if they wish too. DO NOT CALL on [protected], because obviously no one has manners to handle the call professionally.

I am registering this issue with TRI as well, since this is absolutely not acceptable and I sure see no hope of any resolution.
