Reliance Communications — Mobile Number Portability - CDMA to GSM // Please reactivate CDMA connection
As I purchased a new GSM handset I opted to use the mobile number portability service to switch from Reliance CDMA to Reliance GSM. I filled out the necessary forms, provided documents and was advised that the process should take 5-7 days. Since it's the same service provider, it seemed likely. On the 8th day I checked and still no service. So I called the customer care (CC) and was told to wait for 24hrs more. I did. No network again in my GSM sim card. I called again the next day, and the person told me the process will take 15 days and when I asked for more information he hung up! I waited for a couple of days again and called and spoke to a supervisor as my CDMA had been blocked and GSM sim was not yet activated. The supervisor told me that Reliance had received no documents!!! Imagine my surprise! Now I have a CDMA card which has been deactivated, which is linked to my Aadhar, gas booking, bank, and a GSM card which has not been activated. My request to reactivate the CDMA card was refused! I am way too disappointed after being a Reliance customer for more than 7 years in two cities. Resolution wanted - Reactivate my CDMA please. Was this information helpful?
