I bought reliance wipod last march and it was working good also but from last 5-6 days, it is not connecting to internet and showing poor signal.
I had a visited local reliance store to solve the issue.
But, i got to know that, company has started 4g migration of cdma devices whiout having any prior personal notification & best part is that reliance has make 4g migration compulsory for each customer.
Its good that company has started new services, but why should customer bear charges for new 4g devices as cutomer has already had taken new cdma connection with the device 2-3 month back.
In my case, i have bought the device 3 month back at around 3-3.5 k, & i was happy with cdma speed also.
Then suddenly i came to know that, reliance has planned to start new 4g service & for that i have compulsory migrate my number from cdma to 4g gsm at the cost of time & money around rs 2.5-3k.
There are couple of questions that reliance failed to answer me
1. Why should i pay extra cost for dongle, if i have dongle already which is purchased 3 months back. If you want to upgrade then give me 4g device free of cost.
2. Why they have not kept backward compatibility?
3. Why anyone has not informed me that the device which i am going to buy will be worthless after 3 months?
4. What about 3g data plans. Are they same for 4g device also. As per reliance cheated history data plans will be change after 2-3 months without any prior knowledge and that time we don't have any option.
