Reliance Communications — Service and bill issue.

This is what I just wrote to their customer care email and waiting to see what resolution they give.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is regarding my Wipod connections numberes [protected] and [protected], I did not want to come to this point of putting an official complaint thinking that it could be resolved by calling your contact centers and getting required help.

But since 3rd of April till date I have been really trying to deal with your company,

between 3rd and 5th April 2016 i got endless calls from your contact centre in fact one of those 3 days i got about more than 7 calls in less than half hour and finally I answered the call and requested that I was in a meeting but still asked what was the call regarding and was told its a service call and wanted to inform me about my bill details and for the same I said that I am aware of it and my due date is 5th April and shall make the payment by or before that but yet again in less than an hour I got another call from another agent for the same so I requested that please if I dont make my payment then call me but please if you call me again today i.e. 3rd April I will make my payment a week late no matter if I have to pay a late payment charge so was assured that I shall not get anymore calls before 5th April and yet again I got a call for the same after some time same day i.e. 3rd April (which made me think that Reliance agents are just there to bother the customers).

Anyways I started facing network issues right after 6th of April and on 13th April my connection stopped working due to non-payment and on 14th April I made my payment of 2388 between 12.15pm and 12.40pm and right after that I logged on Instacare app to see if my payment is reflecting in my account and it was reflected and showed that O/s 0.00 and just a few mins later I got a call from your contact center that it was a service call to thank me for making the payment and was told that my connection will start in next 3 hours and got a ref. number on my phone that my issue will be resolved in 3 hours and right after 3 hours 15 mins I got a message that my issue has been resolved so I tried using my connection after that but the issue still existed and my connections were not working so I called again at around 7pm and gave another complaint again was asked to wait for 3 hours but waited till next day and my connections were still not working so called again in the afternoon and asked the agent that I would like to speak to a manager but the agent did'nt do that so I asked that I would like to cancel my connections so he transferred my call to the concerned team and there I was promised by a manager that my connection would start in next 3 hours but he would make sure that they get started before that and he would make sure that he would call me and update me personally that my issue has been resolved which again never happened.

After this again when I called again the contact center I was told that sir your payment was made and your connection started the next day i.e. 15th April but was again suspended on 16th April and I asked why and have been asking the same question again and again till date but they have never been able to answer that question and really for which I need to know how and why would the company or an employee take such an action using the power they have as they can access a customers account and do what they feel, which honestly can be fought legally.

After all this i checked on your website for Appellate office details and got in touch with them and as your contact center same they too kept asking me to wait for 3 hours as initially they tried starting my connection was told that they have some technical issue and are not able to start the connection online which happened more than 3 times in 3 days so left it and waited till I get a call from your company asking for money which happened after 19 days and since then I am tired of explaining my issue to more than 20 agents but still have not been helped so I am sorry to say but I do'nt care to be with your company anymore, I wanted to go ahead and take my 4G cards from your center for which I went there and they asked me to wait till I get my cards from your company and then I could visit the center and get further help and for that too I was getting mails and messages that my cards were being given at a special price of Rs. 899 and suddenly I got a message that I am being given the cards at Rs. 1299 is this supposed to be a joke by RELIANCE first 899 and more than 10 or 15 messages that my cards are dispatched and would get them soon and have not got them till date and now that they are dispatched and they are for 1299, please even before getting the cards the company is playing with the customer in such a way I can only imagine how it would be after I start using them.

Another joke after you speak to an agent you get a message that you spoke to so and so and were you happy with the resolution and its toll free to reply Yes or No but when you try to reply No it message never goes through first I though it was happening due to network issue but no as that kept repeating again and again every time I spoke with your agents, I understood its your company's trick or an agents.


Whatsoever, my due date for 5th April was for my bill for March and I did not pay that and my connection only worked till 13th April so as far as I think whatever due I have against your company is only till 12th April as my connections worked only till that day and I don't owe an extra penny to your company.

Hope this is resolved from your company after this mail.

After I put big mail on top I got a call from a reliance rep. And he mentioned to me that he agrees and can see on his system that my services have been barred since 14th of April 2016 till date on this I asked him that according to them and me my outstanding should be from 18th March till 14th April which he calculated and gave me an amount of 2270 but yet insisted that I have to pay 4775 for me to start the connection and I said that's not right as you have agreed that my services have been barred since 14th April.

On top of that yesterday i.E. 3rd june, 2 collection guys went to my place though they were told i am not at home, and told my mom that I haven't paid my dues so they have come to collect, the called me but me being busy I cut the call whereas he called again and before I could answer the call the rep cut the call in just 2 rings, so my mother being scared seeing 2 guys paid off the amount.

Today I were given the number or their senior and when I spoke with him he said that they started my connection on 14th April and never stopped it now which is in contradiction to the previous several guys from their own company on top of this I told the guy I shall login on your website and check my own account and tell you, where I got shocked that the website is not processing my previous login data for which he tells me that sir as we are upgrading to 4G all the previous data of customers is erased, ISN'T THAT ILLEGAL?

But luckily to prove that he is lying that my services were never stopped after 14th April I have a screen shot of my account logged on 15th April which shows my connection disconnected which I am uploading on this website.

In short this proves how Reliance an Anil Dhirubhai Ambani company is cheating people but erasing the customers data and forcing a customer to pay for services they haven't provided.

Also on top though they have not resolved your issue they still have the odasity to post on this website for my previous complaint that they have resolved my issue.
