[Resolved] Reliance Communications — Uninformed plan/tariff change and inflated monthly bills | |||||
I had recently upgraded my reliance wifi to 4G and i have been using 799 plan. For the past 2 days i was not able to connect to my 4G dongle. After so much of trouble and retries managed to reach the customer care service(that barely connects). On connecting with them I was informed that my plan has been changed to 1100 with 5GB o[censored]sage post which I wont be able to connect to the dongle until my next bill cycle. It is really unfair that you guys have not informed your customer regarding the tariff(Absolutely poor tariff)change. Adding to the above details, the 1st month bill generated after 4g upgrade is ₹3050. I was never intimated that this is no more an unlimited plan and I have to pay the amount for excess usage. I called the customer care and raised a complaint regarding this. Since I didnt receive any response I called back and the representative simply said that request was closed since it was taken wrongly. I just would like to ask. Is this the way you treat your customers ? Then, another complaint created on sep21 and ETA provided was sep24. Still it is not resolved. I have been trying to reach the customer care in every possible way. But I ended up not able to connect. I have the logs for every calls/messages, time you guys took to respond and promises made to me regarding the waiver. Inspite of all these proceedings I was threatened that I will have to pay the penalty if the bill is not paid before the due date. Who is responsible if the solution is not provided at the promised date ? I have been using reliance for last 6 years. Never thought to quit this network. Note: The same request is still pending since last month with social media team as well. Please find the attachment which was published saying no change in tariffs.
