Royal Enfield — Improper and Inefficient bike service (Sri Venkateswara Bike Zone) | |||
My Royal Enfield Thunderbird bike was given at Sri Venkateswara Bike Zone, Pallikaranai, Chennai 600100 in the year 2020 and January 2021 for overall servicing. On both occasions, I had to take my bike back to them three times as they failed to meet our requirements and had also not fixed the minor repair works each time. Despite repeated follow-up calls, they also delayed in picking up the bike for servicing. Recently, as there was starting problem & minor issues with the brake, I approached them to fix these and do an overall servicing too. They charged Rs. 6, 551/- (bills attached). But I had to take the bike back to them as the brake issue had not been fixed though they had confirmed that all works have been completed. Upon collecting the bike second time, I again found that it has been left unattended. When I went back to them the third time, they demanded another Rs. 6, 050/- (screen shot of whatsApp msg) for certain other repair works. I brought back the bike without doing anything as I informed them that I will pay only for the spare parts and not labor charges as they had not completed all works on both occasions. I would have been happy if they had done the work for the money paid by me instead of looting money from me and cheating me without doing the services required. My experience with them on both occasions (in 2020 & 2021) has been very disappointing and request that the amount paid in 2021 be refunded as they had taken money from me without doing as required.
