My name is Puru Kulshreshtha and I live in Chhibramau(distt. Kannauj). I booked Meteor 350 Stellar Balck on April 23, 2021, via a dealer named Sampuranta Automobiles. I booked this bike because the dealer mentioned that the same will be delivered by July 2nd or 3rt week. I paid the booking amount of RS 15, 000 in cash.
I visited the dealership two to three times as of the date and received no confirmed date of delivery of my bike. I called the Royal Enfield support team and they informed me that due to the covid pandemic they foresee a delay in the delivery of my motorcycle within the committed timelines and Over the next few days we should be in a place to give you a new date of delivery for your motorcycle and they gave told that your bike delivered in the 2-3rd week of September.
In September, I visited the dealership and they told me no confirmed date, then again I called the Royal Enfield support team and they informed me that due to the covid pandemic and semiconductor issue they foresee a delay in the delivery of my motorcycle within the committed timelines and Over the next few days we should be in a place to give you a new date of delivery for your motorcycle and they gave told that your bike delivered in the 2-3rd week of October.
I called the Royal Enfield support team in October than they again postponed the delivery date of 6th November 2021. In November they again postponed the delivery date to the last week of November and then December. Every time I called the Royal Enfield support team, they postponed the date.
It's almost more than 7 months of booking and my bike is not delivered till now. I have seen many others get the same bike even booked after me. When I booked my bike they told me that the bike is delivered on the basis of first come first serve. but others got their bike even after booking in June.
