We had booked OYO rooms at Uppal South end check in on 1/10/2015 check out 2/10/2015. We had specifically requested for early check in at the time of booking and the same was accommodated. However when the guest checked in, the experience we had was horrible and disgusting. 1.Despite the confirmation from your booking centre, early check in was not allowed. The person at the desk was demanding Rs.500/- for the same. This was despite the assurance from the Booking centre that it will be free of cost, but I had to pay on the insistence of the persona t the front reception Mr.Dipak. 2. No breakfast was provided on the date of check in... even on payment basis he refused to supply ( why is it when your website clearly says complimentary breakfast????? is this not tantamount to cheating customers by misleading Ads??? Do compel us to take legal action against you???) 3. None of the facilities described below has not been provided, which normally any HOTEL OF REPUTE WILL OFFER VIZ: *Pick up & Drop from Airport * Buffet Breakfast * In room Tea/Coffee Maker * Electronic Safe * Cable Television * Free WI-FI Internet Connectivity in the Room 4.When reached the room, the scenario was shocking... a. the Bed line was dirty. b.One of the lights fitted on top of the mirror was not fitted properly c. Fan regulator was out of order as a result the fan was running in full speed only d. There was no water coming from the Wash basin e. The taps were damaged as a result there was no water for bathing and brushing. Even on the one tap which was working the water was coming out very slowly. f.No drinking water was provided at the room. When asked they provided the RO water ( God knows is it a RO water or it has taken from any Nala????) Last but not the lest, your staff were not in Uniform or in a decent dress. They were in casual printed T shirts and half trousers. Their face displayed utmost displeasure as if they are running the Hotel on Charity and we came as a beggar. This was least expected. On the second day early morning when asked for Tea/Coffee, the gentleman at the front desk said that it will be available after 8.00 am only. OVERALL it was a very poor show. Once a Guest stays in any of your properties, he will never turn back, having had such a nightmare of staying in OYO rooms. It you want to improve and be in the business, it is high time that you rectify your mistakes and be professional. IN a nutshell success too far away from OYO Rooms, unless you rectify your mistakes and work in unison for the top class hospitality... else you can see the death of OYO Room concept shortly... Very miserable state of affairs... not seen anywhere in India even at the cheapest hotels/ bread & breakfast services. I am writing to the Media as well with regard to my experience as well as your tall but misleading claims so that the general public are cautioned about the mushroom growth of OYO Rooms.
