I took a car loan of Rs. 2.5 lakhs on 9.4.2009. At the time interest rate was 10.50%. I remitted @ Rs.4150 for first 51 months and @ Rs.4300 for the remaining 33 months. Now I was informed that I have to pay another 45000 rupees as interest balance. When I addressed ombudsman of SBT Trivandrum I got a rply from Asst GM of the branch stating there was increase in rate of interest during these periods and interest rate from 5.7.2011 was 13.5% and from 26.9.2011 14.5%. These people had never intimated this increase. Generally this type of this this will happen only in private lending agencies but now it happened SBT. Ombudsman is also of the view that I have to pay and if required he will arrange for installments. I am a BSNL pensionet, to whom I have to compkaint ? Was this information helpful? |
