Shiva — Bank Laon Foreclosure charges | |||
Dear sir, I have a home laon from IDBI bank since 2 years, i am not able to build a house within this period. Now i just want to foreclose my outstanding Rs.15 Lakhs of laon. But bank people told me to pay penalty as 4% extra on base rate from date of disbursement (24 months) According to RBI, there is no foreclosure charges applicable. Please suggest me to go ahead.
