While i am enquiring about chit from online contact Sri ram Chit coimbatore crosscut Road branch Chit agent Tmt.Maria ([protected]) has approached me to take 3 lakh chit with 5 years duration. She gave me the assurance that prize money will be provided at the 3rd month itself (commitment chit) for sure, (in return i must provide 2 government surety and should join 1 more 3 lakh chit along with it). Second 3 lakh chit will be provided by 10th or 11th month with 1 government surety for sure.
After i joined 2 chits for 3 lakhs with 5 years duration.(4110/162051/011) and (4110/162051/012) on 09.08.2019 She started showing her real face she keeps on ignoring my phone calls even i visit her branch she refused to attend finally at the 3rd month approached i came to know that all the assurance and commitment given by her are fake.
New person branch manager Mr. Tamilarasan ([protected]) comes into picture. He represents himself as the whole company authority and what he says will be final. He wants me to participate in an auction and win the chit and should provide 3 government surety for each 3 lakh chit in which I have registered. When I questioned his employees' commitment he easily replied that he can't answer for his employees' commitment. Instead he said I should meet the chit fund company's manager and confirm the chit commitments before joining chit.
For my financial emergency I have participated in auction and provided 3 surety for the chit (4110/162051/011) on the upcoming months and the prize money was received after 50 days after deducting GST and documentation charges Rs 5000 /- even GST charges and Documentation charges were never instructed until prize money cheque is received for the chit (4110/162051/011) Till date i am paying my chit EMI dues for which i take the prize amount.
But for the second chit (4110/162051/012) for almost 7 months I stopped paying my EMI and requested with Tmt.Maria to refund my remitted amount. She is too rude and ignores me whenever I try to ask about my refund.
Suddenly i received an removal notice on 26.12.2020 dated 17.12.2020 through register post that i need to settle 7 months due Rs 28383/- Late payment charges Rs 1800/- In Total 30183/- for the chit (4110/162051/012) with in 14 days or else chit will be cancelled as per 28(1) chit act and charged 5% for chit value nearly 15000/- and balance will be provided after 5 years when chit duration gets completed by cheque payment if when some other person joined and replaced in my chit no that too i should request in written request at the end.
If Tmt.Maria would have informed me about this chit removal i would have started remitting my dues for the same instead she wanted me to wait till 1 year completion to replace another person in my chit number then the amount will be automatically refunded so i started waiting for it at last i received this notice she totally cheated me on the whole
These terms and conditions were never ever instructed and She Tmt.Maria utilizing publics financial needs for her business targets these processes continues for all customers and cheating public money for granted in the name of Sri Ram chit funds.
I even requested with the Branch manager to provide 2 months time to pay the amount Rs 30183/- and continue on 31.12.2020 he replied today is over closing day please don't disturb and disconnected my call
I have approached sriram head office trichy no response, submitted complaints/suggestion form at sriram website no response, contacted sriram Toll free no response, contacted coimbatore branch Tmt.Maria serveral times no response finally approaching Consumer complaints Kindly take necessary action Thank you
