[Resolved]  Snapdeal.com — Snapdeal-Refund Issue

I bought a TV from snapdeal.com paying online with order# [protected] on 12/9/14. The deadline to deliver the order was 22/9/14. On 23/9/14 seeing that the product did not arrive on time I purchased a TV locally ( I had to present the TV to someone as gift on his birthday). Before that I called up Snapdeal customer care and inform about the delay in delivery and my compulsion to purchase the product. The representative regretted and advised me to not receive the product which will take care of my refund. He also registered my complaint as Request# 9577976. Please note that the option to cancel the order was disabled by then and on 23/9/14 the package was lying in Delhi warehouse with BlueDart (way bill number [protected]) waiting for some formalities. Now the package was brought to me by BlueDart on 27/9/14 and I refused to accept the product as per advice by Sanpdeal. On 27/9/14 quite interestingly I received a mail of delivery notification and a feedback request for my purchase. Being a bit nervous I checked out my account in Snapdeal and found that the status of the Order to be shown as “Delivered”. I again called up Sanapdeal and expressed my concern about the wrong status of the order. The customer rep assured me that this is a mistake in the system and it will be corrected. He again registered another complaint with Request# 9731675.From then on till 20/10/14 I received mail from Snapdeal related to delivery confirmation and request to share my view. Again being concerned I called up customer care and every time they promised me with sugar coated words and probably generated different request# but never did anything for a resolution. On 20/10/14 feeling completely hopeless I wanted to escalate the matter to higher authority and sent a mail to Sanpdeal CEO(Kunal Bahl) and COO(Rohit Bansal), The addresses are published in Snapdeal website copying the customer care as well. Till now they did not communicate back anything nor did they refund my money. Therefore as my last resort I am appealing to you to please take necessary action to not only resolve my issue as soon as possible but also give Snapdeal an exemplary punishment as per consumer protection law of our country so that they don’t hold up customer’s money for unreasonable period of time for no reason but benefit of their own business. Please note that I can provide evidences for all communication mentioned above. I am also attaching some screenshots from my order in Snapdeal’s website plus BuleDart’s tarcking site.
