I am vineeth k..I am here regarding xperia m software issue .I bought a phone on 24/12/2013... here There is no option for moving apps to SD Card issues.. facing low internal memory. Its with some software issues in sony need immediate response

And Your Cs executive told me to use some third party software to move app from internal to sd card .like (link2sd and app2sd) software. But It says that your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage .

So here there is no option for moving apps from internal M to SD card ...It seems this software only work after it rooted...I know that warrant will be void if it id flashed. As an user Let me know what to do here ...At least get me some patches to fix this issues or provide me some detail...

Have same problem In My xperia m mobile...Please need an immediate responce from sony mobile india ...Please ask the to made some patches to fix this software issues...
I am unable to move the apps to SD card in my new xpera M handset. I just wanted to know is the only way to over come this problem is by "rooting"? or in future by upgrading the firmware of the handset will resolve this issue. I am the fan of Xperia.
My previous device was Xperia Mini and I love this phone.
I bought Xperia M 2 days back. Everything is fine.
But, Sony disappointed me this time. I can't able to move my apps to SD card.
is this a problem with device or Android OS.
However, if this a problem sony sholud give internal memory to 16 GB. Why you restrict us to just 2 GB.
I have Installed 4 HD games, all four are running fine. But, Xperia M shows system storage is getting too low.
Please fix this issue in next firware update as soon as possible.
As this problem is very serious.
Even, Xperia Mini can moves the apps to SD card.
We are waiting for your response.
Iregret buying this phone now. I would rather buy Nokia lumia 620

My brother uses same Android OS 4.1 Jelly bean on his SAMSUNG Device, there we can move apps to SD Card.

Me also have same issues in my xperia m .My brother have Huawei Y300 which works on Android 4.1, and he can move apps to sd card without problem.So i quess its not Android 4.1 problem. Why sony not fixing this issues ...please do check this problem soon as possible...many users are waiting for a solution...
Save issue with my xperia m /It's a DISGRACE that Sony does not keep this feature in the recent versions and it would be an even bigger disgrace if you do NOT fix this problem soon! So I want to ask them:

* What is the point of not letting people save apps to SD cards? Do you want us to be limited to a small amount of apps?
* If not, then why are you not listening to your users and treat this issue like a real problem? Or do you keep this issue unsolved intensionally?
* In what way is the fact that your users have less space a disadvantage to you? It's not like you have to pay for the extra space, WE already pay for it by buying external micro SD cards ... at least give us the option to have more freedom! Need an action immediately...

I just Xperia M Dual for my wife and this phone just like hell without having option for moving App to SD card, why sony is not giving such nice option in their particular models. otherwise phone is very good and performance is also good. i would request sony to enable this option (Move App to SD card) in Next Update.

what the hell problem with ur sony xperia m. you just provided with 2gb internal memory for a smart phone which is capable of supporting all kinds of apps.how the hell user can utilise it. And i can see that all the post are from december itself but still u didnt respond anythng.so wat the f.. u providing customer statisfication . Guys better return this xperia m and buy lumia or samsung. I hate samsung to the core but still thy are respecting the customer's need . i bought xperia m today and gonna retuen it tommorro itself.

      Sir, I purchased new Sony Bravia LED 46" 46W700A series smart tv in first week of November 2013. It has very unique problem- in standby mode it get "on" by itself at any time. Numerous complaints have been registered with Sony care. Compliants IDs are as under: 16564030 on 08/11/2013 16811441 on 26/11/2013 16951398 on 09/12/2013 A technician visited twice between 08th and 26th nov. but he was unable to resolve the problem. Customer care person on 26th nov and 9th dec. promised to assign the complaint to a senior person, but no one has visited. Sony care was contacted several times w.r.t. complaint dated 09/12/2013 and complains through e-mail was also lodged three times, but to no avail. looking forward for a quick response.         I have purchased a mobile phone SONY Xperia C on Tuesday 24th Dec 2013 at Patna from your authorised dealer. I have informed from my colleagues instead of your showroom persons that 1 GB 3G data for each two months from Airtel is free with this phone. So, i called the Sony Customer Care and asked about that, Customer care has said me, yes it is correct so please contact with Airtel for this free service. After that i called to Airtel for this, but he said, please contact to your dealer where from you purchased this mobile for this free service. Just now i visited to that showroom with this problem but he said this is the service from Airtel, so please contact to Airtel. I just want to know, this is which type of service provided to me.           November 2013, I bought Fifa14 from your web store. I Received a PS4 for Christmas and I went to BestBuy to trade Fifa14-PS3 to Fifa14-PS4. BestBuy and FutureShop offer a 60$ credit.

          Unfortunately, both request a solid copy of Fifa14-PS3 to do the trade. They refused to do the trade with a digital version. I showed them the receipt from the Playstation web store.

          I called Sony call center and they were unable to help me. I asked for a solid copy and they refused. I asked for a refund and they refused again. They proposed me to buy another version at 59.99$. I asked for an upgrade and they said no upgrade is available.

          I can't understand why your best customer, who bought games fro your web store, are penalized. We put our confidence in your company and invest our economy to buy your console and your game. Why do you treat your customer in a different way ? Are the one who bought from your web store not as important for you ?

            I purchased two Sony Bravia TVs 40EX520 and 22EX420 in September 2011. One of the TVs 22EX420 is working so far (it is hardly used) but the other TV 40EX520 has suddenly started showing some colour patches and coloured lines from the past four weeks. When I contacted the Sony India Service Centre, they sent a service personnel who came to look into the problem and told us that the LED TV panel needs to be replaced at a cost of INR 21, 000. We told him that it is a sparingly used TV and we have also connected a reputed voltage stabilizer, he just said that it is a usual problem and the LED screen cannot be repaired but need to be replaced. I feel cheated as I have paid a premium to buy the Sony brand and now at the receiving end to shell out 21, 000 more. Initially it was a green tint and now it has changed to a complete red tint. When I have emailed the Sony India Service Head explaining the details of the problems, I have just received only a standard response from them saying that they are looking into the issue and revert soon. My reasonable request is that I require the LED panel to be repaired than replaced as I am not confident on the longetivity of the fix. I am willing to bear the cost of the repairs. It surprises me that a Manufacturer is refusing to repair a component that they have manufactured and expects the customer to buy a replacement component at 1/3rd of the product cost. Sony India is offering a warranty of only 1 year on the replaced LED panel and I am not sure whether the problems will recur again. My research on the internet showed hundreds of complaints on the Sony Bravia LED colour patching problems and it makes me more jittery than ever. Sony India may not bother to respond to this complaint. But at least I want others to be aware of this issue and stay away from Sony and not sink their hard earned money on these unreliable products.             Even i ve purchased bravia 40 inches tv.
            Its been just 23months..and now they say ..panel has to be changed.
            It has blacked out completely..no picture..only audio working.
            I had purchased for 55000.
            Sony has let me down.
            And now listen to the absurd reasons given by the customer care...
            They say...sir u didnt use the tv for 1 month..so must ve caught moisture..
            When i said..its not even been 2 yrs..she says...some customers ve lost it even in the first yr itself.

              I bought this Sony Xperia Z in March 2013. As the company flaunts by pride, the water proof feature of this phone, I was very happy to possess a handset which I can use freely without the threat of it being getting wet in rains or any accidental drop in water as the ads claims it to be fully protected for half an hour in submerged water. But what I didnt know is the fact that the water proof feature of this phone is just an advertisement gimmick with no grounds as far as the back up support from the company is concerned. One month back the phone got wet in rain hardly for 2-3 minutes. All the sockets of the phone were closely guarded and closed. But I found that water has penetrated the camera and screen. After keeping it in sunlight for 3-4 days, the water from camera got dried up but since then the main power button has gone bonkers !! It keeps flashing off and on every now and then and the phone never switches off. The backlight also keeps on forever. Even if we clik on power off, the phone automatically restarts and due to this even 100% battery drains in an hours time.

              I spoke to Technocare solutions service center in Lajpat Nagar for sending the phone for free repair as it is still under warranty. But I was told by the most smartest of all engineer that if the white mark under each openable socket has turned pink or red it automatically makes the phone out of warranty...woww what a philosophy !! The same message was endorsed by the service center owner - Mr Sanjeet. This [censored]ing phone is bought by majority of people just for the so flaunted feature of it being WATER PROOF and 3 minutes in rain and the water penetrates the closed sockets and I am being told that my phone is now out of warranty and I need to pay a whooping 17000 for getting a replacement as its company policy that such phones cannot be repaired and can only be replaced !! Great policy huh !! I paid bloody 39000 eight months back for a water proof phone and now I am asked to pay another 17000 for my phone getting bonkers due to water penetration !!

              This is such a pathetic and unpardonable excuse from such a huge brand named Sony !! All I can say is that they are bloody parasites making a fool of general public thru false and misleading advertisement gimmicks..Why dont they advertise this clause of white slot getting pink - while claiming their phones to be fully water proof. And in this case the phone was not even submerged in water, it just got a few drops of rains and its gone for a six !!

              I therefore request the forum to take strict action against the company and get me either a replacement of this phone free of cost or get a repair done free of cost !!

                I bought Sony Xperia SP on 1st Oct, 2013. There was accident cover on it and I gave my mobile for the display and body damage repair caused due to an accident. I submitted it to the Service Centre on 23rd Nov, 2013, and they promised the repair within 10 days. After various follow-ups, I got the repair confirmation and went to collect my mobile on 10th Dec, 2013. The display was repaired but the body was not. When i asked about it, I was told that they FORGOT to repair the damaged body. A new job was created on 10th Dec for the same. After numerous inquiries, even today, on 23rd Dec, 2013, I do not get the actual status of the repair. Every time I call, I am told that it is still under repair. Its been 1 month now, and I have NO clue when I would get my mobile back!!!                   Complaint # : 16966504. Requested refund for a led tv that stopped working a few minutes after purchase. No progress has been made on the case. I keep getting the same response everyday that the sony department needs to get a call from some one else who seems to be napping. This is really frustrating as this blocks me from making another purchase.

                    I am a victim of fraud done by SONY to its consumer. I have given my Sony Vaio laptop to Sri Kara service centre, Begumpet Hyderabad on 26.10.13 for HDD problem, which was under Warranty period. They assured me that it will be replaced in 2 days. But even after 1 month they didn’t get the HDD replaced. They are just making fake promises that it will be done in a day or two but the promises were not fulfilled. So I complained to the higher authority due to which they replaced the HDD on 23.11.13 saying that it is new one. But I got a doubt as HDD had scratches on it. So, I got it checked it with my technician who confirmed that its used one and was even corrupted. Sony has done fraud with me by giving me damaged parts and providing wrong information. Even Asian Electronics, Punjagutta, from whom I bought the laptop are not giving any response. My whole business is dependent on computer and now due to SONY's fraud and irresponsibility I am incurring losses of huge amount. I want SONY to replace my Laptop immediately.                       I had purchased Sony Xperia Z from Click Talk Dubai Tel :[protected] Fax:[protected] P.O.Box: 45320 Al Fahidi Street Bur Dubai - UAE Invoice No. 18124 Date : 23rd July, 2013. The phone stopped working after a week when I had taken phone to dealer he accepted for service and said would provide an update from service centre on the same. After 3 weeks dealer informed me that the damage is irrepairable and would cost more than half of the cost of phone. Further the dealer was rude and just returned the handset as is.

                        I bought a Sony Xperia C phone on 14th Oct. It was a defective product immediately after I bought the phone. I was told that as the invoice was done, it is under warrenty replacement and it has to go to service centre for replacement Service centre gave me a phone back yesterday, which one has 3 BRIGHT SPOTS in the screen. I am sick of SONY products and don't trust the quality and the time you guys are taking. Let me know what to do now.

                        Here are the details. I think I am wasting time with SONY. Quality of SONY products has gone down dramatically. Please arrange for 100% refund + Service Centre commute expenses (6 times) + Replacement of Screenguards

                        I am sick of XPERIA C2305 product I have

                        - The last phone (after 3rd replacement received on 27th Dec) suddenly stopped yesterday evening and could not start. Only going to SONY screen
                        - I connected to companion, it was not able to detect
                        - Finally somehow it got detected and asked me to fix the problem through companion. Which totally wiped everything in the phone.

                        The back cover started deforming (after using for ONLY 10 DAYS) . I am attaching the pictures.

                        I need a complete refund with all the compensation and don't want a 4th replacement again.

                        Sequence of events

                        8th Dec - Purchased phone and realized defective in 1 hour and returned to the shop same day
                        19th Dec - Got the replacement phone after 11 days. Phone was defective with bright pixels
                        20th Dec - Send the phone to service centre back for replacement
                        27th Dec - Phone received
                        9th Jan - Phone switched off and could not restart. I had to completely restore through companion Loosing all the data.
                        10th Jan - I logged a complaint for unacceptable product. and also the back cover has started deforming in about just 10 days of normal usage.
                        THIS PHONE IS PRONE TO LIQUID DAMAGE, FOR WHICH YOU GUYS DON'T GIVE ANY WARRENTY AS PER YOUR POLICY

                          May i draw your kind attention that, my Sony Brevia LED TV 24", problem is facing since Aug2013 that screen not sharp or clear. So many times i was loged complaint in Sony Customer Care, complt.no's given bellow.

I think this is not customer service this is showing customer herasment service. What type of service provide against customer complaint's by sony . So request you kindly take this seriousley otherwise i have to loged this in consumer service.

                            Reg: Indifferent attitude of dealer, service centre and customer care centre

                            Unfortunately, I prefer to purchase a sony LED 40EX 430 on 25.01.2013 through your dealer M/s Shiv Light House. All of sudden on 18.11.2013, my TV was not displaying anything. And I prefer to refer the matter with the Dealer. After two three days, a mechanic visited my house and told that screen of the LED is facing defect and is to be changed. He asked for photo copy of the Bill which was provided to him on the same day.

                            There after my son abhinav garg is regularly following up the matter and also sent a scan copy of the bill at the instance of your customer care office. The copy of the emails are paster hereunder

                            But nothing yielded, there after I personally visited the dealer on 11.12.2013 who provided me two complaint numbers as 16735579 dated 20.11.2013 and also 16968714 dated 09.12.2013. and assured to install the new set by 16.01.2013. even from his shop.

                            Again on 18.12.2013, we have been informed by your service centre on telephone that the set to be replalced has been received by them. My wife who was at Gwalior rushed to Mathura enabling him to install the TV. But the representative asked for photocopy of the bill and told that after sending the bill, set shall be provided by the company.

                            In this connection, I want to know

                            What is the company policy for resolution of customer complaint.
                            How many time I have to provide a copy, every time a new office require the bill. Such is the co-ordination.
                            What is the efficacy of the entire network to redresses of the customer complaint.
                            What care is taken to your warranty promises?

                            Under the above narrated circumstances, my family has been deprived of the LED due to very casual, indifferent attitude at yours. Am I not entitled for the compensation for agony?

                            Last but not the least, I request your goodself to intervene the matter and arrange for replacement of the set within 3 days. And also ensure to avoid recurrence of such attitude by your various agencies.

                            I called your toll free no. multiple times and every time they assured that i will definitely receive a call in 2 working days, it been 25 days and I haven't received any call regarding my complaint Satus

                            This behavior from a company who is know for its Customer Service is not understandable and acceptable, I don't think Sony is taking my complaint Seriously.

                            I demanded the replacement of my LED TV but haven't received any update regarding that

                            Please look into this matter ASAP as i am now fed up of calling your service center and getting false assurance

                            This is regarding my service request No. 16705523 for my defective LED TV.

                            As per your engineer visit, he said that whole picture unit is faulty and need to replace full screen.

                            I purchased Sony LED due to my prior experience of Sony Quality and customer Support but in just 6 months my LED TV turns defective, Screen which is its main part is not working only after 6 months. It just shakes my trust on sony quality.

                            Considering this, maybe the whole piece(LED TV) is defective and this problem could arise later also, I demand replacement of full TV in place of screen

                            Please consider my request for replacement for full TV unit

                              My sony vaio laptop with the model no: SVE14A25CNB SERIAL NO: S[protected], was purchased in May 2013, from Logtech systems in Trivandrum.

                              THe laptop has been experiencing problems with the mouse pad and keypad from the time it was brought. The touch pad was placed in a titled angle, which i got it repaired from the service centre.

                              Within few weeks, series of problems was encountered.

                              1. The fan was not working properly, as a result there was over heating.

                              2. The screen kept flashing in between for no reason.

                              The laptop is still under warranty. My laptop is remaining at the service centre for the past one month. Finally the people there at the service centre have decided to change the mother board. Which will take another one week.

                              The above model in my experience and as i see from the other complaints here, is the worst model. Sony should provide replacement new laptop for such faulty ones. The whole purpose of buying a laptop is defeated with such frequent visit to the service centre and such silly problems from day one.

                              Will the sony take an action?

                                Sir i have 4sony laptops in my home
                                my dad uses 1, my mom uses 1, and i bought my 2nd laptop on 22nd of october

                                MODEL NO:SVE15126CNBIN5

                                after few days usage ie 1month got my charger and ram damaged but the service people got it changed in 5days

                                aftr 2months i got several other issues such as the dvd writer not working.
                                external disc or pendrive detection problem

                                so i went to service centre they told that u have to keep ur laptop for some 12-15days.to which i said no because i had much usage with the laptop hence i cnt give the laptop
                                as i thought that ill give aftr some days when i dnt have much work on my laptop

                                2weeks before my laptops warranty was about to finish i went to them and told them the problems
                                to which they said that i will have to pay a sum of 9000 rs for dvd drive and 2500 for new usb bus cables

                                after hearing this i was shocked as my warranty was still remaining
                                i came to know that these people are cheating me

                                before sony service was good now it has become worse than ever, and cheap body and cheap products.
                                i would not prefer buying any sony laptops in future adn will suggest others also to get a lenovo instead.

                                i dont have hope but still if the company can repair my laptop under warranty then

                                  I bought Sony Laptop model no. SVF 14216SNB and serial No.[protected] on 27th Nov. from Vijay Sales at Gurgaon. On the 3rd day o[censored]se the laptop touch screen came out and remained loose. The charging port is so oversize that the charging plug comes out very frequently or stops charging. I called the Vijay sales ( Gaurav [protected] ), he advised me to come next week as that was the Diwali rush time. He also said the people in service center may not be available. Unfortunately i had to go out of the city and went to the store after 2 weeks of purchase and requested him to replace the product as it a manufacturing defect. He rudely refused to entertain and directed me to the nearest service center at Shushant Lok for repair. After purchase of a new product if you have to visit service center in coming week you can imagine the quality of product that SONY boast of. I went to service center on 23rd of November (J[protected] . Waited 2 hour to get a reply that the screen and port is not available in stock hence we have to order it. Please come after few days. My pain didn't end here. I called after few days to find that parts are still not come. This process continued for some more days before i became impatient and asked for some phone nos in the Sony to influence them to get my laptop repaired. Finally they gave me a phone no of Dheeraj Tiwari, Area Service Manager. [protected]. I pleaded him to get my system repaired at the earliest. He said will get back to me after checking status on 10 Dec. As expected he never get back ..after multiple attempts i could reach him to find that he is unable to take any action as the parts are not getting shipped being rare nature of my complaint. I requested for replacement of the laptop if it could not get repaired.. he agreed and told me that he has raised the request in their system and i have to wait... How long ..only GOD can tell me.

                                    I had purchased Sony Xperia L C2104 mobile handset on 19th NOVEMBER 2013. There was a problem with the ear speaker so i had visited Sony service centre, on 4th DECEMBER 2013 ie.(MOBILE TECHNOLOGY, in GHATKOPAR EAST, MUMBAI-400077). IMEI NO.- [protected], Job No.- W[protected]. Till date i had not recieved a single communication from the service centre at all. I had visited the service centre for this they told me they will call the next day and give the exact status of my repair but there was no feedback. I had also called the Sony Tollfree no.- they had given me the status that part is to be dispatched. After 4-5 days again, yesterday i called the service centre they told that part has not yet recieved in the service centre, immidiately i called the tollfree no. to ask about the status they told the part is about to be dispatched, can i please know before 5 days i had recieved the same reason of the part is for dispatch and again the same reason why is it so?.
                                    Sir, I had purchased sony because i like to use a brand and all my majority of my handsets were of sony, I had purchased a new mobile and i am suppose to go for picnic you tell me is it ok if i dont take my new mobile and keep it in service centre for repair and go like dis only. See the service which i was expecting from Sony being a big company is not up do the mark from the problems which i am facing. I urge you to please look in to the matter.
                                    I request you for replacement of my handset with the new handset, as there is a lot of delay with the repair and also its only 14 days from the purchase date, the mobile handset is in service centre. please find out a way. Sir, bringing to your notice that Sony service centre nor the sony customer tollfree support, has not contacted me from the date i had given my mobile handset for repair and it is been now 12 working days+ 2 sundays my mobile is in the service centre. I shall be obliged if you do the needful for me.

                                      I had purchased the above mentioned Laptop in January 2012. In April / May 2013 The laptop developed some problems, it would not switch on, and I had given it for service to CHENNAI SERVICE, SONY Authorized service centre, Chromepet (near Vasanta Bhavan hotel), Chennai – 44.
                                      Even after one week there was no response . On my calling them over phone, the service engineer Mr.Karthik said that the “mother board” had to be changed. He said that the warranty period was over and I was charged around 18, 000/- rupees for which I paid an advance amount of Rs.9, 000/- After that there was no response for the next 15 days. Again I called and this time Mr.Karthik said that the “daughter board” had to be changed and an additional Rs.5000/- was asked for. I agreed. But even after this, there was no response and I again called them after 15 days ( by this time it had been more than 40 days, you may pls verify) and after a long phone conversation of more than 45 minutes Mr.Karthik requested for one week time and my laptop was returned.
                                      However it again developed problems and on calling the same service centre I was informed that they were shifting the office and it would take some time to accept the laptop for service. So I waited and approached the same service centre in September (which by the time had shifted to Tambaram) and I was told that the battery had a loose connection and was set right. However the problems continued and I had to take it to them a couple of more times. Finally they again accepted it for servicing on 04/11/13 and until now they have not been able to return it.
                                      For the last 8 months I have made numerous attempts to get the servicing done satisfactorily but in vain. I have paid the quoted amount, approached the authorized service centre and still I am at loss.

                                      It is now requested that I may please be refunded the cost of the laptop along with the servicing amount paid at the earliest.
                                      Please note that in case of no response, I am left with no other choice but to seek legal remedy for the negligence, deficiency in service and lack of commitment on the part of SONY.

                                        Some times my laptop display is white.After purchasing it after some days a golden white vertical line shows & i went to vaio care, they replace my display, then near about after 20 days some times the display is become white but the care is not listening me.This is my problem.
                                        My TV model is sony Bravia R40-LED the display of screen goes off after we switch ON the TV and LOGO of sony appears and then display comes for one minute and again goes then logo of sony appears this happens for 20 minutes and then display comes correctly without interruption...after this
