[Resolved] Sony India — Pathetic customer service by Sony India for my 42" Sony Bravia LCD TV | |||
My name is Sagar Goyal and I am from Bangalore. I recently purchased a Sony Bravia LCD TV (model no. KDL-42W850A) and got the TV wall mounted about 3 to 4 months ago. The person who had installed the TV was in such a rush that he had fit the TV in a slanting manner. In spite of repeatedly telling him, he said it was straight and just rushed. On 24th Sept 2014 again I raised a request for having the TV reinstalled and this morning an engineer came to reinstall the TV. He was so unprofessional that the TV screws are not properly mounted to the wall and I definitely don't think this will hold the TV to the wall for long. Each time I have paid the engineer Rs.450/-. I am so damn disappointed with Sony Service as in spite of spending almost Rs.90, 000/- on a TV, I am still not satisfied even a little bit. The engineer has messed up the wall in my living room, making so many holes on the wall that is right opposite my main door. I want you to send an engineer who is "TECHNICALLY QUALIFIED AS PER SONY STANDARD", to install TV's and who is not in a rush; who has time to install the TV and this time I am not paying for the installation. If this is not possible, please let me know so I can sell my TV and purchase a Samsung or any other brand TV for at least they offer me better customer service. I work for a corporate company and I did not look at any other TV but a Sony due to its wide popularity and global presence. However, if this is the kind o[censored]nqualified and disappointing service Sony is going to offer me, I would rather not look at Sony products going forward and share this miserable experience with my friends and colleagues.
