Sony India — Working TV taken for service & Returned a dump TV | |||
Our Sony TV was taken by your Authorized service center - STAR ELECTRONICS – New Delhi and not by M/S Club Electronics as mentioned in your below mail. ü As mentioned in your mail below that symptom of “lines on screen” is totally incorrect. Our TV was working fine but sometime the picture use to convert into a sketch Type but colorful, not black & white. This symptom does not have definite frequency. On the day your engineer visited, it took 10 -15 minutes to get at that state. Further please note that if the TV is switched off and restarted again it use to work fine. As per the norms of the service person was supposed to take the snap of the screen during his first visit but he didn’t comply to the same ü On the confirmation from the visiting engineer, if the product is repairable then first the estimate will be forwarded to me and on our confirmation only it will be processed, otherwise it will be returned in the same condition as it was while taking it for repairing from our residence. How can a service engineer of a reputed company SONY was not aware that the symptom can change or if he was aware then why he will lie..? ü I specifically reconfirmed while sending it to the service centre that the condition should remain same as we had an "offer for exchange" if the TV was in working condition. ü Even after we said "NO" to your service centre for repairing & they confirmed that it is transported for return & will reach any time, but the same was not delivered on the scheduled date. Day after, on our chasing and informing that we are coming for pick up, we were informed that product was still with the delivery man in his van only for last two days. Is this the system of the SONY that the product for delivery is not even tracked out? And a driver can keep the product without informing to the service centre? ü It's almost 3 months now and after "n" numbers of calls & mails flowing from our side to Star Electronics, Sony customer care, service centre, service head, Mr. Satyender Singh and Mr. Nitish Bhardwaj no action is taken against the same. I do regret to state that neither the service centre nor the Co. is interested to resolve the same. We had end up paying for the Tata sky for the above said without using their services properly.
