It is surprising that SJ never send the Travel Insurance Policy along with the eTicket. When I buy eTickets from Indigo the ticket and Policy are sent immediately but not for SJ even you spend your valuable time asking for it. I have communicated with SJ CR about 10 times so far but the answer I get from CR and nodal officer made me think that those two posts are there to dodge the issue with customers. They cannot be dullards as defined by Vivekananda more than a century ago. They may be pretending to be more stupid than what they are following Parkinson dictum as the latter is gainful in our hapless nation. Moreover the issue smacks of a scam. Where the money is going? Are the fliers aware that an Insurance without policy is meaningless. Communication with the TATA AIG as suggested by SJ CR was also not answered giving credence to the fact that it may be a case with hand in glove arrangement. How can SJ ask their customer to get the policy from Tata Aig??
It is SJ who had collected premium along with the ticket and it is bound to provide the policy without being asked as per gentleman's agreement if at all they honour it. Was this information helpful? |
