Spice Jet Airlines — Not refunding my money and mental harassment at airport | |
Hello, This is to inform you that my flight from Varanasi to Kandla was cancelled 30 minutes before departure. The details are given below: PNR: YB9V4M Date of Travel: 27/07/2021 I was issued boarding pass and it was only before 30 minutes before departure that my flight was cancelled. I was not helped at the airport counters at all. In addition, I have not received any refund even. I have been charged for Varanasi to Mumbai flight when it did nothing than keeping me stranded at the airport. I need full refund of my flight from Varanasi to Kandla. After I was left stranded at an unknown place, with no support from SPicejet, I was mercilessly left to book a train ticket to reach my final destination, in the midst of the pandemic. I also claim for the train ticket price as it was Spicejet and their inefficiency to help me that I was forced to book a train ticket for my travel thereafter. In addition to the above, the lady at Counter No. 1, between 2:30-3:00pm, not only used an abusive language but also shouted at me when I asked her about the status of my luggage pickup. Being stranded at an unknown city wasn't enough, when the harsh, unprofessional and abusive behaviour of Spice Jet staff caused me psychological trauma. It was because of torture and unjustified behavior of the Spice Jet staff that I was subjected financial and emotional abuse. I was left stranded at the Mumbai airport, with Spice Jet staff not only for not helping to offer support for booking another flight but also for hurling harassing behaviour. Both male and female staffs, especially the lady at Counter no. 1 screamed at the passengers with extreme form of non-verbal harassment. I was constantly asking them to book another flight for me so that I could reach atleast an alternate destination as Mumbai is an unknown city; however, the staff told me that they do not fly to other destinations! Adding to the trouble, Spice Jet asked me to move out of the place and go to any other airline for support. The lady at counter no. 1 growled and screamed at me, that all she was doing is helping me. She kept my boarding pass with her and started talking on phone. On asking her to help me out as I have to book another flight urgently, she screamed at me again with abusive verbal and non-verbal communication. This is not only abusive in nature but also intense harassment to a passenger who had faith in Spice Jet. This is not done. Emotional, financial, psychological abuse by Spice jet and its staff members. They have cheated and behaved unprofessionally. I have been left traumatised by Spice Jet.
