[Resolved] Spice Mobiles / Spice Mobility — Spice mobile not being serviced by company in warranty period | |||
This is to inform that we purchased Spice 5 inch(12.7 cm) Dual SIM 3G Android Phone-MI-514-Golden from HOME SHOP 18 vide order no.[protected]. The mobile had battery early drain issue from first day. After several visits to Spice authorized service center in Ahmedabad & regular E-mails, they accepted that the battery was defective and replaced FOC. After replacement of battery the condition became worst and it was not charging and not getting ON. Again after several visits they admitted that there is major fault and has to be sent to company for repair and will take about 10 days. Since I had been transferred to Delhi and had to move to Delhi in next 3 days I was advised by authorized dealer to get it repaired through Delhi Service center. I shifted to Delhi and visited Karol Bagh Delhi Service center. They refused to take the set for repair and said it is Tampered set and is out of Warranty. I approached the customer care and they said you again take the set to service center. Again I went to the service center and again they refused to take the set for repair. I even made the service center person talk to Customer Care, but they refuse to entertain our complaint and said that it is tampered. If the set is tampered by Spice authorized service center at Ahmedabad, what is our fault and why should we suffer ? We have neither visited any other repair shop nor have reason to visit any other repair shop in warranty period. I have under gone severe harassment by running from pillar to post for the last so many months, being a lady. You are requested to ask the Spice Mobile to refund me my purchase cost and pay damages for harassment and conveyance charges & time.
