I this is jagadeesh, i used to be a customer of SCB. I went to abroad for job purpose so I didn't close my credit card and didn't use it for more than a year (may be that was my mistake) and they have used my credit card in India. I didn't get a chance to block it since I didn't get any OTP for transaction and they have started calling me, my HQ, disturbed all the departments (accounts, HR, operations, etc...). One day I've visited their branch and settled the issue since I don't want them to disturb others.
I didn't take a single credit in India after this incident but I've multiple credit cards in abroad which are safe.
All this happened in 2017/18, year is not sure and the issue was resolved.
Now in 2023 28th March, again I'm recieving messages to clear the remaining amount to improve bureau status and to obtain no due certificate.
I'm fully confused, why they are sending these messages after 4+ years.
It's like a nightmare for me whenever I see a message from SCB.
My credit card last four digits are 3470.
How to get rid of these people. Are these practices as per the RBI regulations?
Please help.
