Standard Chartered Bank — Personal Loan Closure (LC[protected]) | |||
Refer the above mentioned loan no. pertaining to my personal loan that I had borrowed from Barclays (taken over by Standard Chartered Bank). Loan amount supposed to be disbursed to me was INR 150000/-, however, INR 144000/- was transferred to my account, deducting INR 6000/- in lieu of some insurance(not approved by me) for which I have never got the details till date. When I raised the point with the lady Manager named Norie, I was told that it will be settled at the closure, though I never received any call. Loan tenure has ended in November 2014. I had missed two EMIs of INR 4407/- each, making a total of INR 8814/- (+interest as applicable) as pending amount, which I am ready to pay, after settling the issue INR 6000/- that I was never paid. I had missed the EMIs because I had lost my job for some 4 months in the year 2014. However, Bank is asking for an amount of INR 18456.26 /-, without sharing any details for the same with me. Also, I have paid some INR 1600/- to my bank and Standard chartered as bouncing charges for both EMIs missed. First mail of this communication from the bank came to me on 4th March to which I have been following up, without any positive response. People call up and talk rudely on the calls and shouts like anything. Pathetic attitude towards customer and customer service. I had to block all the no.’s calling me due to this misbehavior from this collection agency. Due to this non-closure of the loan, my CIBIL shows pendency and can not avail a house loan or for that matter, any loan. I would request the concerned persona to help and close this as soon as possible by taking the correct amount from me and An NOC be given for the same. Looking for an early closure. Pathetic these people are. I have registered a complaint at Ombudsman vide complaint no. - [protected].
