Stanza Living — Disguised marketing / Not refunding amount

I had booked one PG in Whitby House, DCC Aishwarya Flats senthzmizh Nagar second main road, Konathi village, main road Kattankulathur, TamilNadu, India for my son ( Tanishq Pokharia, 22wwHIBA215 ) who has taken Admission in SRM University KTR. I had done this booking from New Delhi, through your App as I was not familiar with the new place.

Your sales associate Mr. Prasad ( [protected] ) has made a lot of false promises to us from day one. First he asked us to transfer 1000.00 to process the booking for PG, once we paid the amount he said the rooms in Harrod House are fully booked, you pay us 4000.00 and we will bookroom in Whitby House which is the nearest to SRM University. We made the 4000.00 deposit also. On reaching here on 7th september I made the remaining payment of first installment 33407.00 ( Total 38407.00 )

On 7th September we reached SRM university and went to the Whitby House PG, first of all it was very hard to find the place as it was inside Aishwary Apartments which was not informed to us. Mr.Prasad did not pick up the phone and also did not respond to the messages.We had to waste 1 hour searching the property. Though we had advised him in advance regarding our arrival date. On 8th September also he is not picking up the phone and not responding to Whatsapp messages.

On reaching the property we found the beds were too small ( the bed just broke off in front o[censored]s when my son tried to sit on the bed as it was made of cheap material ), no separate almirah and no study table, no CCTV as promised by your sales team. The toilet jet was not functional. The property manager told us all the parents are complaining as the sales team makes false promises to the parents about the services and once payment is done they do not respond.

We were told shared autos are easily available from this area to the college, however in reality the students have to wait for 30 to 60minutes to get the auto and that also is not shared. It took my son 1.5 hours to get the auto the first day on 8th Sept 2022, his first day to college.

Just next to the window of my son's room there is a dumping yard which is full of waste from the nearby flats and a breeding ground for mosquitoes and has a very bad smell all day.

Keeping all these things in mind I've decided to vacate the PG at Whitby with immediate effect and shift my son to the college hostel instead. If I cannot get facility after paying so much amount there is no point staying in this PG.

I've made payment of ( Total 38407.00 ) till date .

We did not expect to go through so much paid using your services and we are not here for the experiment from your sales team to check different different properties.

So, I request you to please proceed with the full refund to me at the earliest. I did not make any delay in making the payments and expect the same from you.
