[Resolved]  Stayzilla.com — Cancellation Policy

Dear Sir/Madam, I have booked 2 rooms in Thekkady, Kerala through Stayzilla.com 20 days before the check-in date. I have cancelled the hotel room booking 7 days before the check-in date but they did not refund even a single rupee. I have given their cancellation policy below. As per the cancellation policy, they should refund the amount after deducting 15%. When I requested to refund my money, they changed their cancellation policy at that point of time telling I need to cancel before 30days!!! in order to get the refund.. How can people change their policies in each and every minute!! Please let me know what need to be done for this. CANCELLATION POLICY OF STAYZILLA.COM 1) A cancellation penalty of 15% of the booking amount will be levied by Stayzilla.com on all cancellations post confirmation. 2) If you cancel the booking with less than 48 hours left to checkin and 24 hours before checkin, one night's room rate will be charged in addition to the 15% cancellation charge. 3) If you cancel with less than 24 hours left to check in, you will be charged the entire cost of your stay. 4) Hotel's cancellation policy, if different from Stayzilla's policy, will take precedence. Your cancellations will be processed in 3 business days. Subsequently your refund payments (if any) will be processed in 30 business days. Please do understand that even though we refund the amount from our side, your bank may not process it till your next billing cycle. Regards, Roopa

Almost facing the same problem here. My booking id is[protected][protected]. I cancelled this on 18th of Oct, 2014. No refund till date. Whenever I call them or email them, I get the same reply, the amount has been already transferred to hotel. We are trying to talk to the hotel manager but the number is not reachable. I don't think whether the hotel's manager number is reachable or not is my concern at all. Almost 9 days are over since the date of cancellation and even after continuous follow ups no positive result yet.

I have booked Malpani Resort on 6 may 2016 but unfortunely hotel was overbooked for that day. So your customer care Executive called me and cancelled my booking.

But still I have not received refund amount. Kindly initiate the same. Let me if any issue.

Facing the Same issue with Stayzilla.comWe have booked the Room in Minerva Grand Tirupathi for 28 -29 May, unfortunely hotel people are saying till now no room is booked on my name or though booking Id, Even customer care People are not responding
