Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] — Frequent Voltage Fluctuation and appliance facing physical damage in my area

We are facing voltage fluctuation in my area regularly and this time summer started the voltage fluctuates rapidly 140 - 280volts. Most of the home appliance experience physical damage and especially on night, even fan is not working properly and not able to have enough sleep.
