Dear Sir,
Today I want to tell you with great sadness and humiliation that I have a group mediclaim policy (Policy No-[protected]) from my company. The Mediclaim Policy Company Name is “TATA AIG GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED” and serviced by “MEDI ASSIST INSURANCE TPA PVT. LTD. My Policy ID is-[protected].
I want to tell you that towards the end of the month of May, I started having some problems in my liver and started having a lot of pain due to which I was not able to do anything. I decided to get admitted to the nearest hospital “ Jaipur Golden Hospital, Sector-3, Rohini, Delhi.” as my problems were increasing. I was admitted to the hospital on 2-6-2023.
The surprising thing is that I was admitted there ( Jaipur Golden Hospital, Sector-3, Rohini, Delhi. ) from[protected] to[protected] but no one showed any interest in treating my disease, but meanwhile the employees of this poor hospital were getting the bills added to my mediclaim policy. A crude joke was made on me in the name of treatment of my disease. My condition was becoming miserable day by day. When I felt that there was no doctor here for me, I got admitted to another hospital on[protected] itself.
I was admitted to the JIVAN Hospital Mangol Puri, Delhi. on[protected]. Due to timely and proper treatment by the Doctors in this hospital, I got cured and was discharged from this hospital on[protected]. At the time of my mediclaim, these two hospitals probably did not have the facility of a cashless policy.
I paid all the hospital bills by borrowing money from my relatives. For the last 5 months, I have been fighting day and night for my claim money (Old Request Claim No[protected] but nothing is being heard on my claim. I belong to a poor family. I have given all the documents to the mediclaim company about 6 times through email and have even couriered all the original bills and all the reports of the hospital, and requested for claim through more than 50 phone calls, But again a new demand comes from the mediclaim company. (New Claim No[protected] I am tired of giving documents, now I don't have that much strength.
The limit was reached when the Mediclaim company (“TATA AIG GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED”) made the wrong accusation against me. Sir, if I am taking the claim by lying then the mediclaim company should have gone to the hospital and verified but it was not done. I have been fooled for the last 5 months. That is why I have decided to file this complaint in the consumer court. Such a poor mediclaim company should be ashamed, which proves the customers a liar by taking documents thousands of times.
My total claim amount is Rs.110000/-. You are requested to help me in this case. Only when I get this claim money will I be able to repay the borrowed money. Waiting for your positive feedback.
