Tata Docomo — Pathetic Network and No Resolution Time

Below is the complaint i raised to Photon including their nodal officers =================================================== Token No : M22995030 With time and considering the Brand Tata Photon has built over the years, one expect it to be a responsible organization. However things are getting worse day by day and only focus is on increasing devices sale. This time my Photon No is [protected]. For last 2 months my internet speed on any day isn't more than 512 kbps (max) while the device taken is for 7.1 MBPS. Infact the speed is so worse that you have to wait for results even for simple query made on google search engine. I already contacted customer support and it was told me that issue is known and there is no end date of resolution. I request you to kindly disconnect my connection with immediate effect and i am not going to pay any bill when speed is worst than even 3rd world internet service providers. What also surprises me is that the issue doesn't restricts to my location and next month i am relocating to Faridabad and i tested the device over there and found similar speed. Considering this i am left with no option but to disconnect and look for a new vendor. Below is the reply i received. I am sharing so as everyone become aware of what they are going to deal with after purchasing the device ================================================================ Hi Mr. Puri, We refer your email dated 25th May 2015 regarding slow speed and disconnection for your Photon number [protected]. In continuation to our telephonic conversation on [protected], we would like to inform that the area you have referred to is a highly congested area (high number o[censored]sers using internet service at the same time). The improvement in speed may only happen if the congestion on the sites goes down, which can’t be predicted at this given point in time. At Tata Docomo network augmentation is a continuous process, and we would like to assure you that all necessary actions would be taken on the feedback shared. The disconnection request is raised for your Photon number [protected] on 26th May 2015 and the request number is[protected]. Our Photon Care representative shall get in touch with you within 48 hours with respect to your request. Please note that the connection will be deactivated on 2nd Jun 2015 unless notified from your side. The current outstanding in your account is Rs. 1386 and Due date was 24th May 2015. We would like to inform you that the bill date for your photon number is 7th of every month and you will receive the final bill for the period of 5th May 2015 to 2nd Jun 2015 on prorate basis. Your bill amount would be approximately Rs. 1330 including the service tax. Thank you for surfing with Photon. My reply on same ===================== Hi All, Why shall i be paying the bill when i am provided with a 2g speed for 3g high speed connection? I have paid bills without any issues in the past but not gonna to pay freefund without any reason. You can bill me revised for final settlement for the speed you have provided but not for a high cost 3g speeds. Photon Reply ========== Please note that you had received the bill for the period 05-APR-2015 to 04-MAY-2015 as per your tariff plan irrespective to the usage. Hence, we are unable to process your request for billing adjustment as the same is not applicable.

Please note that you had received the bill for the period 05-APR-2015 to 04-MAY-2015 as per your tariff plan irrespective to the usage. Hence, we are unable to process your request for billing adjustment as the same is not applicable.

We would like to inform you that the bill date for your photon number is 07th of every month and you will receive the final bill on prorate basis.

Dear Sir,
Did you guys even read the complaint or are just concerned about receiving bill? I have been using Photon for years and always paid bill. But why should i pay any bill when connection sold to me is of 6.2 MBPS and speed i am receiving is worse than even 2g connections on mobile? Upon raising complaint about the speed, i am being told that this issue is already know to Tata and your area lies in high network usage zone and we don't have any timeframe for resolution of complaint. What kind of reply is this
???? This led me to raise the disconnection request and i have already specified that i am not going to pay fake bills of 6.1 MBPS speed. Revisse the bill and charge me for pathetic 2G connection, you receive the payment within a day. But i am not going to make any payment of existing bill given and ready to go to any court and waste my time.

Also 4-5 days back one of your executive called me and upon listening the scenario he told that he has raised the request for revision of bill and you will receive revised bill. Now again today i got a call from another executive demanding payment of previous bill. Don't you have synchronization between executives?
Guys this is the reply which i got to above mail..It's beyond imagination that how brands are behaving in India after making a customer..In the whole mail there is still no mentioning about targeted time frame for slow speed problem removal in the area. They are not ready to make any adjustment to bill despite knowing that speed promised is way beyond what is being delivered...

We regret to inform you that we are unable to provide any adjustment as the same was charged as per your tariff plan irrespective to the usage.
