Tata Motors — Timing Belt snapping_Less than 2 years of purchase Safari Storme_Engine and Cylinder repairs

This is the worst experience I have with Tata Motors so far. I was going from Gurgaon to Jhajjar in the evening of 28/11/2014 when my car stopped in the middle of road. When the emergency breakdown team reached after 2 hours, I was told that Timing Belt had snapped and the vehicle had to be towed away back to Gurgaon (Triumph Auto, Hero Honda Chowk). Now, even after 4 days, the actual extend of damage is not known as one of the injector has jammed. Triumph Motors personnel told me today on telephone that they need to get permission of Tata Motors for opening the cylinder head. If this is quality of parts used in premium vehicles like Storme, I am very sorry to have purchased this vehicle. The car will complete 2 years next year. As per the service booklet, the Timing belt was to be inspected at 45k kms service, I want to know whether this check was done and documented in the records. if engine will be opened in less than 2 years of purchase, I don't see any second sale future of my vehicle as any mechanic will be able to tell that the engine was opened for repairs. I would need replacement of complete car by Tata Motors. I will not be accepting this car as I don't see any further value of the car being 'new'. its entirely company's fault of not noticing this issue at the last service. Also, I am not confident of any repairs done outside the factory at the dealers' end. there are multiple other issues in Safari Storme that I am living up with and have given up complaining to Tata Motors. Like: 1. The windshield was replaced within 1 year of purchase due to a minor accident. the replacement work done by Tayal Motors, Faridabad was of the worst quality ever. I could easily hear the air leaking into the cabin at higher speeds. Also, passing through smoke one can easily smell the levels of smoke inside the cabin. please educate your dealers to run a leak check before vehicles are returned to customers after job work. 2. Door hinges are substandard. On rough roads or potholes, the doors make their own vibration and one could easily make out the play in the door once they are closed. 3. Back door lock/ handle: Handle is too tight for anybody to press and open on his own. everytime and on most of the Strome's, I see the owner coming out of the car and opening for a security guard to inspect. 4. Ordering of Spare parts: Tata Motors is a company with the most widespread dealer/ service network in country. still my last order of spare (cabin light) took more than 3 months after ordering. please check last job order of repair work and part replacement done at Trans Automobiles, Faridabad on this car. Hope TML will look into this matter and try to improve their product and the service quality at dealers end. In meanwhile referring to current complaint, I want a firm answer from Tata Motors's end on how they will be providing me the replacement of Safari Storme as I am SIMPLY REFUSING TO TAKE THIS VEHICLE BACK WITH CYLINDER REPAIRS DONE AT DEALER'S END... regards Anshuman Gupta [protected]@gmail.com
