Complaint marked as Resolved After a long wait some chap from TATA Sky's nearby technical office (Bangalore - Uttarahalli zone) came to my place to fix the issue after I convinced him many times to do it.
This lady has denied service from day 1 for all those months. She denied service even on that day. The chap called me personally and offered to send another person to fix the issue if I could pay 300/- I offered to pay him instead of a 3rd person who I feared might further screw up the TATA Sky equipment.
He came, turned a screw driver for 3 seconds, checked TV for signal levels and made Rs.300/. I had to pick him up in my car and drop to him to a location. He started his excuses on the local cable operator mafia as usual.
I made some inquiries around and found that this is all just a hoax played on customers from apartments to make some quick money which is then shared by a group of people waiting in strategic points.
TATA Sky needs to check out their local zones before providing services. It is very unlikely I will continue with their service once I am done with this annual subscription. They have tried to keep me happy by extending my due date and adding account credits but going through this local issue is just plain nuisance. Why don't you take some action against them?
Tata Sky customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
