Tata Sky DTH — Rectifying error of digi card not compatible with set top box. | |||||
Had written a mail to helpline of tata sky and recd a call from them asking me the problem.told them the problem was that some channels were not coming and had the message that this digicard is not the right one for this set top box.had used the same card all these years and the channels were coming.most channels that i watch were coming so when told will send engineer to visit but you will have to pay rs.200 as service charges.to cut a long story short they made me go through sebveral steps to rectify that..pull out the digicard wipe and put it back as also got system settings and go back to original settings but nothing worked. told them I will not pay the charges in that case let it be as it is as am getting channels that I watch so dont send the engineer as will not pay..wrote several emails after and one to nodal officer too and got a call from SOM SHEKHAR that he was willing to waiver the visit charges but if any part needs to be replaced I should pay..agreed as was sure no part needed replacement..I got 3 more calls from staff informing me of visit charges andf told all of them will not pay so dont send.A lady from the staff also calls me to fix the time and told her also but she also says if you have been told no charge then no charges so she sent the engineer Mr.Dhananjay who walked into the home and had one look and said send sms from RMN to 56633 and write HR in capital and the channels started.Since he did not replace any parts and the deal was a waiver i should not be charged.Unfortunately they did not honor their word and found the charges in my account.SPOKE to the online chat staff who promised to lodge my complaint and would be done by 15/6 ..let see.or else will have to take some other route to solve this..hOW CAN THEY GO AGINST THEIR WORD.SHAME!!~!!! On my tata sky DHT showing error 2, so I get of the digicard and reinsert but it not work I do this process several times but error 2 were fixed.
