I ordered for set top box replacement in August 2016 just few days after making Annual Subscription to my account. The technician who visited my house set up a new set top box and i paid him Rs. 1, 300 in total (Including Previous visiting charges). At that time your technician did not inform me that instead of just replacing my set top box, he was adding multi TV connection to my account. But i ONLY have ONE TV at my house.
The next month my "NEW ACCOUNT" was being charged for the package which i was seeing eventhough i had subscribed for the entire month. Till this time i had no idea about the "NEW CONNECTION".
I called Tata Sky customer care and gave the request for refund of the amount charged to me as well as to close the old tata sky connection.
I have received multiple calls from Tata sky but none have been so far satisfactory. The latest call was received at around 5.30 p.m. from Tata Sky executive named Aditi. She informed me that for transfer of the said "NEW CONNECTION" to PRIMARY, i will receive a refund of the REMAINING balance of the Annual Subscription i made in August 2016 (the balance amount she told me was very less considering that i used that subscrition for less than 1.5 months). She also informed me that i will have to make a recharge of EXTRA Rs. 600/- to continue to see my current package. The extra charges where due to the hike in the package charges.
I DONOT UNDERSTAND why i have to PAY EXTRA HIKE CHARGES when i had made the subscription before the said HIKE.
I am getting the feeling that Tata sky is making a scapegoat out of me and the continous phone calls are making it all the more ridiculous.
Hopefully you resolve my issue at the earliest.
