[Resolved] Tata Sky — fooled by tata sky customer care regarding set top box issues | |
Hello sir/ma'am, My name is sagar goyal and i have been your customer for a good number of years. I currently have the tata sky hd+ box and have had an annual platinum hd subscription. My customer id is [protected]. I had recently complained to the tata sky customer care about the programs not being recorded fully. Your technician had come home and had done the basic troubleshooting like changing the buffer time before and after the program start and end time; thereafter informing very conveniently that the box has to be changed. Later on the problem was still there and i was informed that the l&b box on the dish antenna had been changed. The issue was still continuing. So the box was changed finally. Soon after i faced the same issue on the replaced set top box and when i contacted the customer care, the technician came and upgraded the software. This was not done initially and this was the ideal troubleshooting that had to be done initially which was not done. Recently when your technician came home about 4 days ago, he informed that the l&b box was not replaced and it was an old one. So now i'm being asked to pay for the replacement box which was not the resolution to this as the issue cropped up even after the box replacement. So i had spoken to the customer care to either give me back my old set top box or wave off the box replacement charges, neither of it was done. So i am feeling that i have been fooled and i am approaching your kind self for a resolution to this. I have been a loyal customer with tata sky for ages though there are equally good or even better service providers in the market today. It's mainly due to the brand image tata sky has. But now i am not having any faith and trust in tata sky after the service i have been offered. So i request you to kindly help me with this as if this is not looked into i will have to approach the consumer forum and also your complaint forum.
