[Resolved] Tata Sky — Installation fee fraud | |||
Name: Bharati Hegde Account No: [protected] So on Saturday (19th March) we relocated so called Tata sky people to set it up. Service cost was 300 and they said wiring cost was 600. So total cost was 900. Now the 2 technicians asked us to pay them in cash for which they were not even willing to give a bill. They said they do recharge as well directly so we gave them 1500 totally (900 bill and 600 for recharge). That day I got 2 msgs first recharge of 300 and then another recharge of 500. Next day I see my Tata sky is disconnected showing a balance of -147. When I called helpline I got to know only 800 was deposited by them Wow. After that I've spoken to 20 different people who say they'll look into it, absolutely nothing is happening. On 23rd March I spoke to the Technical team head who said he'll do an inquiry and let me know. I finally called them back on 28th asking for the status which is when I got to know that my complaint has been closed just like that. Clearly they are trying to protect their fraud technicians. Apr 2, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved After countless calls from my end there was immense pressure on those 2 technicians. I finally got a call from the technician team who assured me that the recharge will be done right now and asked me to inform on the helpline that issue is resolved. Within 5 mins they did the recharge Tata Sky customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||

Guys this is not really about the 700 but these fraud technicians just take people for granted and cheat them. Something really needs to be done. I'm going to keep trying. Please help i[censored] can
