Tata Sky — replacement of set top box

I have taken a tatasky HD+ connection in Oct 2014 and i have paid one full year subscription for all the channels.The connection was not working from 14/05/15 and when we lodged a call they came and attended to it on 15/05/15. The technician said that the set top box is not working and as they do not have stock it will take some days. They will replace only when they get the stock. There are many people waiting in queue. If the company cannot keep sufficient stock why they are selling the product? Why we should suffer for their mistake. When i have paid the money for one year in advance why i should be denied watching the TV. when we spoke to the contact center they said we can lodge complaint anywhere but nothing will happen. Is this the way the company will respond to a complaint. Shame on them.

I, KK Prasad father of Ankit Prasad am having TATA SKY Two old set top box on my son's name and with multi TV connection . with TATA SKY ID NO. [protected], and my Registered mobile number is [protected]. Almost 15-20 days back, I received a call from the customer care department of TATA SKY Services, and I was informed that my set top boxes are old and needs to be replaced as TATA SKY has upgraded their set top boxes to MPEG-4, so I was not receiving all the channels for which I was paying in my existing packs. And the customer care person informed that with a payment of Rs.590/- for each box and total of Rs.1180/- my both the boxes can be replaced with HD Boxes and with this offer, I will also get all the HD Channels free for two months, on this I gave my consent. After that, I received three-four calls from customer care department of TATA SKY and every body were giving different statements on this I requested that I may be mailed with the details of things I will be provided. On this I was convinced by head of customer care division that now no statements will be changed. After this the techinician of TATA SKY came to my house with again only one set top box, I asked him to bring two set top box and change both set top box of my TATA SKY connection. After this I received an SMS that my request has been cancelled. After this since last one week I have been trying on customer care phone no. and also been giving missed calls on [protected] but, till now I have not received any call for the replacement of my set top boxes.

I am parmanand Meena having tata sky subscriber id [protected] want to launch a complaint against tata sky. Company official called me for replacing the current set top box to MPEG4 set top box 45 to 50 days ago. They forwarded request to local dealer situated at kota.
I am belonging from rural area so that local dealer not interested to change set top box. I have called them to change set top box 100 to 150 times l. Most of the times they don't receive calls. 4 days ago they sent a technician to my place, HD set top box ordered by me and he installed normal set top box. And also ask for 200 rs for petrol expenses. I said that company will pay you petrol expenses, after that he leaved my place without activate tata sky services.
I asked TataSky kota dealer for replacing that box into HD box butNow local dealer of kota not responding to my calls.
Helpline number of TataSky not giving satisfactory answer.
I want to launch complaint against tata sky, its Local dealer situated at kota, and technician named kapil who asked bribe...
This is in regard to the mind numbingly slow paced customer service provided by Tata Sky . My Subscriber Id is [protected]. After surviving the frustratingly long series of options provided on the Customer Care number, we still couldn't get through to an Executive. From over 3 weeks, we have been continuously duped being made to believe that a Representative will get back to us shortly. To make matters worse, all the requests we have raised for the matter, have been conveniently closed without being contacted, let alone the issue being resolved. At this rate, with such a horrendous experience, I am left with no choice but to reconsider continuing with your Services. After all, the least we expected was a prompt response to this issue.. 3 weeks is really really long. Also I was asked to make a recharge of 200rs to get the set top box activated again as I had moved from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu to Bangalore. Even after the recharge I dont get to see the channels plus the amount gets deducted on a daily basis and now am left with 37rs in my account when am not even able to use it. The ticket numbers i have raised were SR[protected], SR[protected] which says closed without even being resolved. I need a technician at my service ASAP to get the set top box replaced. I was told the set top box am using is the older version and will be replaced free of cost asap, but its been 3 weeks since i have been given this fake hope.
Is tata sky to tata play set top box replacement for free?
