Tata Sky — tata play grievance concerning unjust charges by tata play and inadequate customer support

I am writing to submit a formal complaint against Tata Play, my television service provider, for levying unjust charges and for their insufficient customer service response.
On30th March 2024, I transitioned to a new home and reached out to Tata Play to arrange for an antenna installation at my new address. Based on the subscription agreement, I was guaranteed that the necessary equipment, including the antenna, would be provided at no additional cost during relocation. This was particularly pertinent as my former residence had a centralized antenna system in place.
When I initially subscribed to Tata Play's services two years prior at my previous apartment, I was informed by a company representative that a personal antenna was not necessary due to the centralized system. It was also assured that should I move, Tata Play would supply an antenna free of charge.
Contrary to these assurances, I was unexpectedly billed Rs. 500 for the antenna setup at my new residence. My subsequent complaints made through various emails have been met with unsatisfactory explanations. The reason provided for the extra charge was a non-linked MDI number to my account, which I find to be an unjust and unacceptable excuse.
As a loyal customer of Tata Play for the past two years, it is disconcerting to face such unfair practices and a disregard for customer satisfaction.
Hence, I respectfully request the Consumer forum assistance in addressing the following issues with Tata Play:
The reimbursement of the unwarranted Rs. 500 charge for the antenna installation.
Compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused by Tata Play's oversight and lack of communication.
Assurance that Tata Play will commit to ethical business practices and maintain transparent dealings with its customers.
I implore the Consumer Forum to facilitate a prompt and just resolution to this matter. I am ready to provide any additional cooperation required for the investigation or resolution of this complaint.
