I live in a building that has a common Tata sky dish. When I moved into the house, I reconnected the tata sky services and took a pack that included everything except HD.
More than 50% of the channels werent coming. Being busy with a new job and hundreds of chores related to moving into a new city, I did not find the time to notice the flaw or call tata sky. My father moved in with me and started complaining that even Doordarshan isnt coming. I called tatasky and complained. They sent a technician who spent less than 60 secs doing some setting and while leaving he said that I will be charged 200 for the service.
I was shocked because while placing the complaint itself i had mentioned that the fault wasnt mine or my equipment. It was a mistake of tatasky itself that they did not do the setting or get me to do the setting when I took the pack. they did not even have DD coming and that it their fault not mine.
A tatasky person is always hanging around in the building and yet they made me call the helpline and deliberately cut off my 200 rupees. I complianed about this and there was a call from them. The agent only called to say 'no no no no no no' He rudely said, i will not revoke the charges without even understanding what I was saying. That is not customer service - its a sales team that has finished collecting the money.
