Tata Sky — Visit Charges & other charges

My subscription ID is [protected]. For the last 15 days there was sound problem in setup box. Sometimes there was sound and sometimes it was blank. Since, your system was being upgraded, I didn't lodge any complaint in hope that it will resolve automatically. But it didn't get resolved and I filed complaint on 3rd May. Same day, your technician visited but could not solve the problem. On 4th May, technician again visited but failed to solve the problem once again. But in the evening, an SMS is received by me on my mobile that ₹ 170 will be debited to my account for technician visit. I again lodged the complaint on 5th May and the technician resolved the problem by replacing the setup box and I was informed that another ₹ 350 will be debited to my account for replacement of setup box. As I am aware of the fact that most of subscribers have faced similar problem in past 2-3 weeks due to your up gradation of software and it has been attended free of cost and in some cases you have extended the validity of subscription by 3-5 days due to distruption in your service.But, in my case I have been subjected not only for visit charges as well as for faulty setup box. You should keep in mind that until your up gradation process, everything was fine. If the setup box provided by you didn't receive the signals properly after up gradation then it is not my fault but fault from your side. I am subscriber to your services since TATA SKY launched its services. It is highly unjustified on your part to charge me for the fault on your side. I expect you to withdraw these charges ( ₹ 170 +₹ 350) on the line as others subscribers have been treated. Regards Kesharwani
